HI,
first sorry for my bad english.
When i understand the thread rightm then you discuss about helping new member to become a good coder or reverser what ever.
I usted right now mem reading and writing and i look here right now to learn RE for Diablo3 as Nesox told me.
My problem here is right now that you have tutorials, i found a good one for 2 days but i dont safed it.
If you you make a new Section only with the Tutorials or Explanation ppl have done so far i could easily learn.
Right now i click look in the thread for explanation for you doings if there is nothing then i skip and look further..
The Problem isfor me right now the jump from knowing nothing about re and then loading a game in ida and search in there....
So my Idea: New Section with your written Tutorials .
ty
sources.. more sources!!

according to my oppion, Why deosn't forum hava a list of guide threads...or essential threads section?
This would avoid newbs asking stupid or easy questions, So more and more people will get basic information easily and lead to a high quility discussion
There are many good guide threads in the forum but unfortunately they' sank quickly. I do think it's the point~
i like the section as it is. even if people tend to not read pinned threads, i think a sticky with a list of important reads for the beginners would be all we really need.
i myself read through the whole section when i started out here. tbh it sucked, but on the other hand it gave me a pretty good idea about what stuff i still had to learn/read up more.
Hi,
there is no need to write new tutorials. I think in these page are alot of tutorials but can i search only for tutorials ?
If so then i ll try right now to only see tutorials ppl made.
Don't read into this too much, I simply thought it was entertaining enough to link here:

I am partially in agreement with you. I really wanted to get into RE'ing World of Warcraft around this time last year so I entered this board but then I saw the stickies.
I picked up a few of those books and realized I honestly had no idea how to even read them... so i set out to learn c++. I am now fairly proficient in C++/Java and can read and comprehend most code and just started with the "Window's via C/C++" book recommended in the book thread as well as working with ASM.
The problem is I am eager(not just me, many people) - I have never posted in this section out of respect for the serious posters(the knowledgeable ones who contribute information) but I feel tutorials would be a good addition. Something to let people like myself get our feet wet. Most of the tutorials I find posted in here are out-dated(patch sensitive data like offsets) but nearly all of them presuppose the ability to find the patch sensitive data yourself. I am not complaining, I am grateful for those sources/snippets/explanations but they are impossible to follow.
Tbh, learning does not have to suck. I thoroughly enjoy programming and all the books I've devoured in the last year have all been interesting to me, none of them have sucked.
