I dont see why you pick on autoit so much. Have you even used it? Its a very nice beginner language and the community is helpful and respectful cuz they understand that you are a beginner. Everyone has to have a beginning and i just happened to choose autoit. And no disrespect but you should be a little more respectful to those who did choose this language even if its bad.

And for the record i know c++ (good enough) and i am transitioning to VB because it looks nice and i want to make easy shitty games

AutoIT is just an Automation API for people who need to create automation software quick and easy. It wasn't meant to go above that standard, but there are those people who will go above and beyond, and proved Autoit to do more then what is was suppose to do.

Absolutely! And this is why I'm moving on. For a small project i have hundreds of lines on 4 separate scripts with probably close to 500 variables all thrown over the place. It sucks to keep track but for right now it suits me and my needs. And when September comes and I'm in university for computer science, I will have java and c++ knowledge (as well as all the other goofy little languages html, javascript, php, etc,)

But your right autoit is defenitly not for anyone as advanced as, say, you, but as a starter i think its great ^_^

Hahahaha. You think doing a CS course at Uni is gonna 'teach' you Java and/or C++. I dunno what country you're in, but where I am at least, a CS course it totally useless as far as actually learning to program in the real world is concerned.
