I signed up for a webhosting account at 000webhost.com at the recommendation of JohnPreston. I got this email a few minutes ago:


Investigation about your 000webhost.com account has been started.
Your account has been terminated for TOS violations located at Terms of service
You are entirely liable for all activities conducted through your account.

All information we have about you has been reported to your country local police department and FBI (to the department of United Kingdom, London).
We have received a phone call from your country police department that they have accepted our complain and they are staring investigation. We have also received confirmation from FBI that they are staring investigation too.

This information has been reported to authorities:

Your all contact information, your real IP address which was recorder by JAVA applet sofware.
A full copy of your website including files, emails, databases and website access logs.


I didn't use an ip hider or proxy. Am I screwed?

Hmm, I just read through their ToS, doesn't say anything about contacting police/FBI etc if your site was found violating their ToS. If they did though...you should start running now XD.

Can I be charged with anything? I only did it to noobs selling their accounts, so their breaking the Blizzard EULA and TOS anyway.

And I'm only scamming gaming accounts, not paypals or credit cards or anything. Stealing virtual property = authorities ignore it?

Actually, only thing they have agains you is phishing, breaking some copyrights etc but duno, aint a lawyer... and LOL FBI CATCHING WOW SCAMMERS AMAGAWD, imo for 70% fake, not sure tho

Is the account there actually terminated, is it really sent from them and not fake? If so you might get in trouble. However, I wouldn't panic. Since it isn't CC phishing I doubt it will have a high priority at the local police.

2. As fadelol said police wont care much either ( not sure tho, such thing never happened here afaik)

That is the most retarded email I have ever seen. Really...I work for the sheriff's dept as well as F.b.i doing child safety. If they really wanted to nab you, do you really think they would send a email to you saying they notified the police and were coming to get you. Lol..You have nothing to worry about at all.
