You'll find that in this section especially rep means nothing as far as knowledge of the topic on hand is concerned.

Most of the contributors in this section have fairly low reputation as far as the site overall goes but that is merely because this is a highly specialized and low traffic forum. In here we really don't care about the little number next to your name because as many people have demonstrated it means nothing.
