Black bow of the betrayer, need some help here

Hi !
I've currently model edited my s1 gladiator crossbow to Black bow of the betrayer.
Im having the problem that my char still shoots like she shoots with crossbow.

Anything I can do to fix this ?

Or if anyone would be so nice to edit proper one for me.

I imagine wdb editing would go around this problem.

I'm sorry for being such a noob but what exactly means "wdb editing"

Download Glitchy's MES, go to the wdb editor.

You'll find it stickied in the guides and apps section.

Does that actually change the animation to fit?

I tried it once (without the program) converting a dagger into a 2H sword,
Let's just say, my toon looked pretty powerful >.>

Yes it changed the animation BUT my char holds the bow in wrong hand. How can i fix this ( doesnt say in help thing)
