Have you bought a licence for Chimpeon and activated it? If you don't activate Chimpeon then it stops after about 5 to 10 minutes.

Yeah I did, bought it last night, also is there any better fishing imports around? Can't find much on it, success with the one in the topic isn't the best

There's a guy a few posts up that said he was successful in creating a reliable fishing script. Might be worth PMing him. However, the one posted on this forum works right out the box for me even when streaming. You need to be sure there isn't anything else within the scan box that could be triggering false positives (i.e. anything that is red in color (similar to bobber feather)). Have a read of this if you continue to have trouble... Chimpeon 101 - Configuring Chimpeon for Fishing
If you're having trouble with Chimpeon deactivating then use the developer's contact form to request help... Chimpeon automates almost any Windows game
Remember, you can only have one Chimpeon activated per licence purchased so if you activate another Chimpeon then one that was previously activated is deactivated. You'll need to buy another licence if that's the case.

The is a learning curve to using Chimpeon (like any application). Once you get over that curve its easy. I suggest going oldskool and reading the PDF guides, the 101s and the Help on the developer's website...

+ you cant read pixels in wow anymore, at least not with tools like ahk. Just tried, but streaming method is should still work fine.

"They return random colors for RGB"?!! What? Blizzard doesn't return anything to Chimpeon. Chimpeon just reads what is on the screen and does not interact with WOW in any way. Unless they randomly change the colors of everything on screen then I call bull poop on that!!

They might have added to WoW what they have been using in Overwatch to prevent pixel color aimbots. In Overwatch, they detect that you're doing something fishy and then immediately flag your account. When you try to take a screenshot after your account is flagged, the screenshot will return an entirely black screenshot. Similarly, any attempts at reading pixels will return black pixels no matter what to the program trying to read them. Then, once they confirm that the account that they flagged was using software that is against their rules, they ban the account.
It is possible that Chimpeon is a pixel reading program that can get around this as I'm not sure how encompassing the system is (for example, I know specifically that it prevents AHK and similar programs/languages from reading the pixels). That said, if you can stream the game after being flagged without a black screen, then you can for sure use Chimpeon with a streaming setup regardless.

Chimpeon sees what is on the screen and interacts with whatever program you choose. Using it on a pc in conjunction with WOW is an almost immediate ban(they dont bother with waiting to ban in waves with chimp if reports are to be believed). The only "Safe" way to use chimpeon is by using one of the streaming methods outlined on their website. Safe is relative however as blizz may decide that its worth their time to figure out a way to detect the streaming method as well. Currently no bans have been reported by those who are streaming with chimp/other pixel bots but I have no clue as to how widespread the practice is.

I see. I knew it was a guaranteed ban to use Chimpeon without the streaming method but I didn't realize it was near immediate. Since they wouldn't need to flag an account if they're just going to instant ban, then it's likely that they are specifically targeting AHK pixel search and other similar scripting programs which they don't inherently ban for in WoW. This is bad news for me especially because I had been writing an AHK pixel search script for WoW that functions very similarly to Chimpeon.

No it does not AHK and all other tools work in WoW and PTR - read the screen color from the screen not from the game process.

You need to read the conversation that we've been having. I wasn't saying that AHK can't currently read pixels in WoW via PixelSearch. I'm saying, hypothetically, if they introduce the same screen lock system that Overwatch uses to WoW, then AHK will be unable to read the pixels. If you don't believe me, do some research into the Overwatch screen lock account flags.

When streaming a game with Splashtop is there a way to control the position of the game window? It is too easy to drag the game window and then all your pixel locations are off.
