I would like to thank Chimpeon and team for being so difficult to set up (Steam method) that the setup process forced me to learn how to play Ret by hand.
Money well spent. No sarcasm.

I'm pleased it helped you out
Have you tried Splashtop streaming? Way simpler to setup.

Chimpeon 1.17.7.1 has been released!
The update provides a Radius setting. When enabled, Chimpeon will look within the radius for a Trigger Pixel. This helps when streaming due to the position of pixels in the stream window having a tendancy to move slightly.
Read the guide for how to use streaming with Chimpeon...

Bans are delayed. Last 6 month ban is over in april... report back then or atleast a month later... They ban in waves and not after 1-2 months

Blizzard has been banning Chimpeon users running the program on the same PC as WOW (not using the streaming method) withing a couple of days if not sooner. Try it if you do not believe me.
Heck, there is a report in this forum topic one page back of them having done so. There are multiple reports of it happening on their discord.
They used to ban in waves. With all the big bots dead, who is to say if they discontinued the process. I imagine they would for newly detected bots however.

I've been fishing in WOW with Chimpeon for weeks using the streaming method. No ban. Mind you, I'm perched on my raft way out in the sea so I never see anyone and therefore don't get reported by players. I think streaming WOW to another PC where Chimpeon is installed is about as safe as you're going to get these days.
The Chimpeon Discord is down, so I guess Blizzard has guns out blazing for the Chimpeon boys!

Will streaming have too much delay to make decent combat rotations or accurate spell interrupts? I play well manually but I have a joint condition that makes long raids/pvp sessions begin to cause me pain so if it's good enough to do as well or better than my manual play then I may try it out. Also, are you able to trigger it on and off from your main PC or do you have to use the keyboard from the Chimpeon PC?

Streaming will cause a slight delay but that delay will be dependent upon how the two PCs are connected (direct cable/wifi), the spec of your PC and your streaming method. The best thing to do is to try it. As for starting and stopping Chimpeon, you would have to stop it by pressing a key on the Chimpeon PC. However, you could use a WOW addon that displays an icon on your game screen when you press a key. Chimpeon could then be setup to stop when it detects a pixel in this icon, and start when it detects a pixel in another icon. You would use the Status Hot Keys for this functionality... https://chimpeon.com/downloads/guide...s_Hot_Keys.pdf

Have you ever thought about running wow in a virtual box or machine that way they can't find the process? Or has that been done before? I don't know if they would know if it is not a regular key sent and it was sent from a program.

I have only tried it with VirtualBox and it was a nightmare to configure due to it being difficult to select Trigger Pixels in the stream window within the VM. It might work better with a different VM program though.

What if the box was full screen and chipmpeon was running on a second screen. I'm not familiar with this so i'm not aware on the operation in selecting trigger pixel but if there is more meaning if the thing was fullscreen would make it easier?

I'm not sure without testing and have since uninstalled VirtualBox. Another thing I found was that due to the VM having to use Windows generic drivers, the performance was poor. I don't have enough experience of using VM software so I can't say if performance could be improved (by using a proper GPU driver) or whether another VM is a better solution.
