Who's to say he hasn't given blizzard a way to back log the bans? It wouldn't be too difficult I imagine, or it wouldn't be happening.
If this is true, then is really is a cunty move by Bgreen.
Saying that, the source code from PQR isn't hard at all to decompile acquire for someone with the knowledge and tools.
hmm i've decomplied pqr as well for my own musings, not that hard to do really so i doubt its due to failroad. (meaning if I could do it blizz could do it)
reflector = i can see dotnet code oh my. (yes theres more too it)

Please if someone helped you donate rep to them.
My best guess is that blizzard has been monitoring players RAM for the usage of pqr/pqi/pe and any programs requiring you to unlock LUA or a while, they decided to pick up the ban hammer around this time for some reason.. Probably due to the upcoming pvp season and WoD. I don't think there was any way to prevent this, I mean they are scanning our cpu memory processes, we are bound to get ****ed over at some point. It's just a matter of time. I'm perma banned and I call it quits, however I may play WoW someday if I can somehow continue using Vitalic's profile. It made my gaming experience so much fun, and it wouldn't be the same playing without it.
Xelper doesnt play anymore and there was never a chance PQR would get rewritten. in any case blizzard could and will always be able to detect it. it doesnt matter in what particular way it interacts with WOW or how it might be changed and improved - they have people working for them smarter than any of us. I think the issue was always whether blizz *wanted* to ban it: there is a very obvious problem of losing accounts since without any doubt this addon is keeping a ton of people subbed, as well as increasing raid activity since people can play alts or second specs they otherwise wouldnt know how to raid with. also a godsend for all those with physical problems dealing with ludicrous keyboard spam required to raid in this game. But like you said, instead of just running a simple rotation (kind of like some addons and macros did in the old days before blizz locked that functionality), which blizz could probably live with - PQR got extremely advanced and became a true bot, and of course the biggest problem was in ranked PVP which is something blizz has always cared about. they might not give a shit if someone does guild raids with his healer alt using a rotation helper, but when 2400 arenas are getting filled with bots it effects the image they want to project (wow pvp being a legitimate esport, etc). and honestly your rotation is a perfect example of that - it doesn't matter if xelper changed the interrupt code or whatever. rotations like yours became so complex and powerful, doing so many things impossible for humans as far as immuning spells or shadowstepping to focus and 99 other examples - that lets face it they were doing the exact OPPOSITE of "taking away some of the attention from PQR". it's seriously not Xelper's fault here. we all got too greedy. pretty obviously the OTHER major reason blizz goes into full attack mode - basically a 100% guarantee that an addon or hack or bot will be targeted either via the legal system or bans or breaking functionality - is people making money of their game and guess what... yeah i dont think it was xelper collecting paypal payments. so maybe lets not point fingers here.
but in any case a 2.5 year run is amazing.
Hello there, i've been perma ban using only PQR, so without PQI (never installed)
lol!!
guess what noob! I created world of warcraft... I did it all myself and blizzard just takes credit for the game I created...
I actually even created the interwebs that all you look at p0rn each day.
My most notable achievement was when I created the universe and humans but that was just a beta test.
you can call me god.
I logged on today and got a response to my ticket, I'm sure more of these will be popping up on the forums as the day goes on. My appeal was denied and case closed.
Since I haven't had to deal with anything like this in the past, I'm not sure how to proceed. I know others that have used other bots in the past and have appeals granted.
