PQR - Rotation Bot

Since I haven't had to deal with anything like this in the past, I'm not sure how to proceed. I know others that have used other bots in the past and have appeals granted.

Chances of getting unbanned from a banwave is pretty low compared to just a random ban, if you want to add another WoW account to you b.net you will still have all your mounts/achieves as they are bound to battle net.

What are you guys saying in your appeals? are you just flat out denying it or taking responsibility for it and owning up to the usage?

It's pretty much obvious that this banwave was because of using PQR in PVP , therefore I am suggesting next

-Code PQR to detect area where players is and block its usage in those areas (Arena and Bgs)
or
-Code PQR to detect when fighting another player and block its usage (tho i think this might cause problems in fights with mind controls)

I do believe making something like this is possible , probably going to need alot of work on it but quite sure that some people would be interested on working on it.

In addition since it would be possible to add that code it would also be possible to remove it. For that solution would be some sorta auto updater whenever PQR is opened to make it update and refresh files to its original state (in case it was edited) <= that would probably need its own server.

Not really expert on these things but like i said think its possible to do something like this , now its up to people with more knowledge to say if something like this can be done?

i find it funny that you think blizzard needs to have some random scrub win their "war on botting" for them...
Most people here feel "relieved" that this happened, and only feel bad for their guilds, not many give a shit.

I think they also look at how active and how much money weve brought into this game)))) For example Ive got all mounts from the shop, pets and so on. I also have a Spectral Tiger. I think thats the only option left. They see that you dont spend money on this game and you use pqr. Here you go a ban) GAME OVER))

Wrong, i have all those pets/mounts and a spectral, chicken etc plus at least 50 race changes/transfers/faction changes paid for. Loving this permaban shit.

I did start to use PQR because I did want more than pressing couple buttons and being dps, I did want to heal and be someone who keeps ppl up and they can do things better because I keep them live but I was too slow to chose spells to use. It was end of Cata when I get very bored about waiting MOP and also start to be little pissed to blizz because all ninjas what have had in instances and raids, "No, we can't do nothing about looting, that raid leader had right to steal your mammoth, sorry about losing your tanking shoes after 60 times trying and then pala healer comes and steals it..." list goes on and on. I can't play as fast young ppl does so rotator did help a lot my healing So, now I have loaded EVE and start play it again so so long WoW...

I tried to appeal my case and have the exact same response as Tare69. Normally I wouldve thrown some tantrum about the ban but I think its better this way. They just lost 45 a month just on me not counting race changes, store mounts, transfers, etc. I wish I gave a shit about the ban but Im actually happy.

For those that need to know: Used PQR/PQI strictly on PvE, never on PvP. Was used almost daily since the beginning of MoP (raids only)

U still can atach new account to your battle-net, then buy WOD, get your level 90 character with all your mounts and stuff shared to you.

I Raided only as heals and enjoyed the fact that i helped my guild its all i played for, did not care about any of the other stuff in the game
PQR helped my guild they just don't know it
im not going to make a new account no point im lazy will bot again and get banned again
the funny thing is when i woke yesterday and found i was banned i smiled

Come to think of it, anyone stictly doing LFR got perm banned? i.e never did normal or heroic.

I have to say I agree with your sentiment. Although I got a 72h ban I find it hard to muster any enthusiasm to actually even log on when my temp ban is over. I only used my rotation in pve and honestly i still don't see the harm in it. However I can understand that they needed to act when players used it in pvp. Maybe this just what I needed to unsubscribe.

Are you going to stop raiding with guild just like that? Will it be easy for them to replace you with another 570ilvl player at these times?

Am not calling out anything just trying to see what others in same boat are thinking when you come to this decision.

What's to stop us from just using it again? I mean it took them almost 3 years to do this ban wave and collect all the data. I was banned for 72 hours. When I log back on this weekend and queue up pqr what will happen? Will I be perma banned within the hour or will it take another 3 years? I'm probably going to get a cheap battlechest and level a dk using pqr and see what happens.
