Could'nt Blizzard just detect mpq changes with a simple md5 check?

I guess they can't really detect this hack server-side due to neccessary lag tolerance and the servers can't handle such an additional load anyways.

Someone should really post a link to their file. Obviously multiple people (including myself) are having trouble downloading the file. Personally I get an error saying that the connection was reset.

Would it be possible for someone to mod this hack and set it to 1 second instead of nothing, because then addons and UIs would still be able to show the GCD refresh and we wouldn't have to consistantly hammer buttons waiting for them to be used
