Launch (either through the GUI or through a .bat) still hangs my WoW before it even loads.

OK not sure if you understood. USE the launch selection in the loader... point it to your wow.exe and have it run. I see the dos box pop up and run and then wow loads. this seems to work. all other ways do not seem to work, they close wow or it just hangs.

GUI = Loader. If you go back to my previous posts in this forum, you will see that ever since 3.3, Launching hasn't worked in any capacity. A whole lot of people also have the same issue, hence we reverted to just starting up WoW normally, logging in, and then injecting.

Hrm.. just crashed WoW. I was running LuaNinja and Gatherbuddy. Dunno if it could be either or not.. but perhaps someone can take a look? Wow was still open at the time.

Since there's been some interest.. here's the add-on I wrote to heal a party or raid. It's for a Paladin currently, but I think you might be able to adjust it for your own class. All credit goes to the original writer of 'healzor', but I heavily modified it to be badass.

How to get it to work. Put the addon in your interface/addons folder, and enable it in the wow interface. In the game type '/healzor enable' to enable, 'healzor disable' to disable. I've found there are some scenarios you don't want it on.. so I make a macro to enable and disable on my mouse wheel.

It's my first real contribution to this site, so I hope you enjoy it!

Hey m8, benn trying your Addon out, and are impressed by the work you have done.

But now sitting with some thought i havent figured out.

How do one to get it to put a Beacon on a MT and keep it up with sacred shield maybe, have been looking in the code and it seem you have a fully functional way of doing it, i just can't figure it out.

Do hope you can cast some enlightment on the prob.

(Sorry for my terrible english, its hard to be danish)

Hey guys i just got it to work today finally, what i did this time is i used the injection process by LAUNCH and not PROCESS, and i when i did launch i set it to world of warcraft but it kept crashing because it was a shortcut so i went into my primary wow files (C:\Users\Public\Games\World Of Warcraft) And i hit wow.exe the main one and launched it thought the Launch option in the GUI and it works for me now. Hope this heps people who are still having issues, and again i apologize for my english. Good luck guys, and god bless you Cypher!

O.K. I have found a way to get this to work for me. I used the Launch option and had it launch wow. That seems to work. Any other way just shuts wow.
I hope that this helps someone else.

Worked Fine for me, cant belive i did so many things and didnt even tried this one. Will run WoW almost all day with this to see if anything weird Happens Tyvm Gary +Rep for the solution

Search for the line:

local tank1="";
local tank2="";


Put the name of the tank in tank1 quotes , to receive beacon. tank2 receives sacred shield. If you want both beacon and sacred shield, put the same name twice.

Hey Noctural, can ya make like a readme.txt file and write out what needs to be inputted into Healzor.lua to change before raiding, etc? Or perhaps.. a GUI of sorts so we can change it in game?

This is not an issue but more of a hlp request.

Since i can only start WoW With LuaNinja via launch mode, is there any way i can still use FreeCap(Smoothping) ? Since I used to launch WoW via Freecap ?

I'll look into the issue with the loader. I'm going out tonight, but I might have time when I get home. If not, I'll do it tomorrow.

Unfortunately I can't reproduce the issue on my end so it's gonna be a pain to fix.

Yeah, sorry guys. Way too ****ing tired to do anything right now.

Just got home from a climbing session, and I had 400mg of caffeine before starting (to lower muscle soreness and increase endurance). Unfortunately the caffeine has just worn off, and its hit me like a ****ing train. I'll probably take some more just so I can stay awake long enough to get some basic stuff, but not enough to keep me alive enough to be ****ed doing anything that actually requires thinking.

Just gonna rest. I'll tackle it tomorrow assuming I don't need to do anything else.
