So if I,for example, use a detected model edit or a detected hack on a private server i will not get banned unless someone reports me,right?

I hear there is a massively updated Warden patch with patch 3.35 known as "Warden 2". Anyone confirm/deny? Are most bots detectable now?
Yes. Many bots will not work or will get you banned easily.
HB/GB is shut down until they figure out the new warden system.
Is it True what i heard about Warden2.0 ? like thing got changed to make it harder to create bots and such and easier for Blizzard to catch users who do this
so whats the news about warden 2.0 ?
whats the difference between 1.0 and 2.0 and what does it scan and shit...?
Sigh.
Warden "2.0" (LOL!) isn't really much more special than its previous version. As one user put it in another thread: "Warden got a boob job, but it's still got the same ugly face."
I am pretty sure the Warden 2 didn't revert it back to the old warden correct? Weird that the ToS sort of implies it scans outside WoW.exe or maybe that was to imply that it scans third party programs interacting with the WoW.exe?
Good lols none the less. I usually troll the PvP discussion forum and someone linked to the CS. Ibetrolling
World of Warcraft - English (NA) Forums -> Proof that botting is ok?
they make evrything secure.....
Look, this is all very interesting and whatnot, but the new terms of use i had to agree to today state that:
A. WHEN RUNNING, THE GAME MAY MONITOR YOUR COMPUTER'S RANDOM ACCESS MEMORY (RAM) AND/OR CPU PROCESSES FOR UNAUTHORIZED THIRD PARTY PROGRAMS RUNNING CONCURRENTLY WITH WORLD OF WARCRAFT. AN “UNAUTHORIZED THIRD PARTY PROGRAM” AS USED HEREIN SHALL BE DEFINED AS ANY THIRD PARTY SOFTWARE THAT, WHEN USED SIMULTANEOUSLY OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE GAME, WOULD CONSTITUTE A VIOLATION OF SECTIONS 1, 2 OR 7. IN THE EVENT THAT THE GAME DETECTS AN UNAUTHORIZED THIRD PARTY PROGRAM, BLIZZARD MAY (a) COMMUNICATE INFORMATION BACK TO BLIZZARD, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE ACCOUNT NAME, DETAILS ABOUT THE UNAUTHORIZED THIRD PARTY PROGRAM DETECTED, AND THE TIME AND DATE THE UNAUTHORIZED THIRD PARTY PROGRAM WAS DETECTED; AND/OR (b) EXERCISE ANY OR ALL OF ITS RIGHTS UNDER ANY BLIZZARD AGREEMENT, WITH OR WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE TO THE USER.
B. WHEN THE GAME IS RUNNING, BLIZZARD MAY OBTAIN CERTAIN IDENTIFICATION INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR COMPUTER, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION YOUR HARD DRIVES, CENTRAL PROCESSING UNIT, IP ADDRESS(ES) AND OPERATING SYSTEM(S), FOR PURPOSES OF IMPROVING THE GAME AND/OR THE SERVICE, AND TO POLICE AND ENFORCE THE PROVISIONS OF ANY BLIZZARD AGREEMENT.
C. Blizzard may, with or without notice to you, disclose your Internet Protocol (IP) address(es), personal information, chat logs, and other information about you and your activities: (a) in response to a request by law enforcement, a court order or other legal process; or (b) if Blizzard believes that doing so may protect your safety or the safety of others.
D. BLIZZARD MAY MONITOR, RECORD, REVIEW, MODIFY AND/OR DISCLOSE YOUR CHAT SESSIONS, WHETHER VOICE OR TEXT, WITHOUT NOTICE TO YOU, AND YOU HEREBY CONSENT TO SUCH MONITORING, RECORDING, REVIEW, MODIFICATION AND/OR DISCLOSURE. Additionally, you acknowledge that Blizzard is under no obligation to monitor your electronic communications, and you engage in those communications at your own risk.
E. You are wholly responsible for the cost of all telephone and Internet access charges along with all necessary equipment, servicing, repair or correction incurred in maintaining connectivity to the Servers.
right, so sounds like the OP is incorrect. Are bots safe to use now with these new ToS or was all this in the old ToS and i never caught it?

Sigh.. That's been in the ToS for at least a year and a half. They've just changed the wording a bit.
Here's what it said in April 2009
1. WHEN RUNNING, THE WORLD OF WARCRAFT CLIENT MAY MONITOR YOUR COMPUTER'S RANDOM ACCESS MEMORY (RAM) AND/OR CPU PROCESSES FOR UNAUTHORIZED THIRD PARTY PROGRAMS RUNNING CONCURRENTLY WITH WORLD OF WARCRAFT. AN "UNAUTHORIZED THIRD PARTY PROGRAM" AS USED HEREIN SHALL BE DEFINED AS ANY THIRD PARTY SOFTWARE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY "ADDON" OR "MOD," THAT IN BLIZZARD ENTERTAINMENT'S SOLE DETERMINATION: (1) ENABLES OR FACILITATES CHEATING OF ANY TYPE; (2) ALLOWS USERS TO MODIFY OR HACK THE WORLD OF WARCRAFT INTERFACE, ENVIRONMENT, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IN ANY WAY NOT EXPRESSLY AUTHORIZED BY BLIZZARD ENTERTAINMENT; OR (3) INTERCEPTS, "MINES," OR OTHERWISE COLLECTS INFORMATION FROM OR THROUGH WORLD OF WARCRAFT; (4) IN THE EVENT THAT WORLD OF WARCRAFT DETECTS AN UNAUTHORIZED THIRD PARTY PROGRAM, BLIZZARD ENTERTAINMENT MAY (a) COMMUNICATE INFORMATION BACK TO BLIZZARD ENTERTAINMENT, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION YOUR ACCOUNT NAME, DETAILS ABOUT THE UNAUTHORIZED THIRD PARTY PROGRAM DETECTED, AND THE TIME AND DATE THE UNAUTHORIZED THIRD PARTY PROGRAM WAS DETECTED; AND/OR (b) EXERCISE ANY OR ALL OF ITS RIGHTS UNDER SECTION VII OF THIS AGREEMENT, WITH OR WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE TO THE USER.
So in lay-man's terms, what has been changed with these new ToS? Nothing?
1. Warden does not scan outside WoW.exe, it does not look at any windows, processes, etc outside the game's address space.
Okay, Launch cheat engine then launch wow and tell me it doesn't scan outside wow.exe or detect processes :3
(may have changed it but as i remember late last year. if cheat engine was open and you launched wow it would tell you to close it. doesn't if wow was already open tho)
2nd edit. confirmed blizzard lies yet again, surprise surprise. Just like their tech support its never the servers its your computer even if a whole realm is having the problem
And no this didn't come with "warden 2" (if warden 2 exists?) i beleive it happened to me back in BC once as well..

....Thats from scan.dll not warden. And it only runs once at startup.
