So because Mr.Fishit is a 3rd party program not running through WoW.exe Warden cannot pick up on it??
as a program, Warden shouldn't pick it up. It can however pick up things within WoW memory block if the 3rd party program has sloppy hooking.
Thank you for the excellent information. I am not sure what I like more about these forums, the entertainment factor or the technical information provided. Cypher and Kynox, I love the way you handle ignorant people. Slap'm down... I wish I could do that with a few of my patients at times. lol Keep up the good work.
So, being new to the forums, might I ask how I can identify a list of bots created by people that actually know WTF they are doing? While no bot is 100% safe, I feel my chances are much better sticking with the experts.
While you'd probably want a private bot to have the maximum security, I think the best & secure PUBLIC bot is Honorbuddy / gatherbuddy (.de / .com) currently. It is without doubt the best working one (public, of corse) atm, I can't speak about the security, since I barely know anything about that, but since it's one (the?) of the most popular bots currently, and it haven't recieved bad stuff from Kynox / Cypher / similar (*hint* Mimic *hint*), and also have a tripwire system, I'd guess and hope that it's the safest one right now. But hey! Don't bot on a account that you can't loose.

Thanks. Right now, I am only using a bot on the 19.00 account with lower level toons.
I would care to argue that it only scans wow.exe, it refused to log me on while i had my Autoclicker open when i open WoW. I can only log in when it is closed, but i can open it while WoW is open with no problems. I have had this happen 6 or 7 times so far, so i can guess it's not a glitch.
Can blizzard at anytime see/collect your hardware id's? Like CPUID, SUID, HDID? Through the use of warden or wow.exe, or something else?

Yes, using the Survey.dll - you can tell when this is running, as you see the message "Submitting non-personal information" when logging in.
I did a write up on this process on my blog - Dribble » Blog Archive » Blizzard Survey Write-up - Just another WordPress weblog
Hum.. do you think they use this to ban multi-botters? Lets say 5 different ips and macs, 5 different unconnected accounts, all running off the same hardware id's?
One of the 5 gets reported and they do an investigation, uncover the above, then suspend all 5?

They may use it in investigations of bot farms, however multi-botting is completely legal in WoW, so you're allowed to do that by nature as long as the process is not automated fully. you still need to be giving it hardware commands on at least 1 client.
If you're getting reported/detected by a hack/bot, they may look into shared ips, shared hardware id's, etc.. in order to investigate more possible accounts.
