just a quiqk reply, with 29406 I have no tutorial on login screen menu (TAB F10) and also heroesconfig is not starting the game :\

There is no more tutorial button in the new build, also if your heroconfig is not starting the game then download the new one here in the link below

Ok changed the client and now everything works fine

Does anyone have a link for latest client download besides the Mega site? I can download fine from Mega with my laptop that has windows 8, but on my desktop that has Windows 7 I get "temporary error" about 30 seconds into download.

Or have any suggestions on how to fix this? thanks!

omg, it's sooo absolutely great to already being able to play around in the alpha.. YAY! =D

really without any accusations etc. - just curious - is there a heroes launcher up, without any of the actual 3 trojan dropper/etc. findings on virus total? :B

that's the point: the findings are not necceseraly trojans. but at least this can alert (nerds like me) a little bit at first glance: xP

They are called trojans because they can hardly interact (probably pipes) with other programs (HOTS executable), or pretend to be the same application as an original one (the case of cracks) but it doesn't mean it is a virus.

Keep calm and play HOTS.

I had the same problem after loading my game. IDK why, but heroesconfig saw my client as an outdated one, even if it was 29406 (or whatever version it has).
