Has anyone got unbanned from "Failed to receive data from server" yet?

well i got unban after 3 and half days i can now log in with all of my 13 account i just wait i did not even send any appeal but for now ill let my accounts rest for a day or a week and see if i get perma ban

Did you unbanned from data error log in ban or just the soft bans? and Did you fill in the form for ban appeal? if yes what did you write?

I bought an account from a site and it was a good account (I'm pretty sure they botted the account). 2 days later it got that same login "Failed to receive data from server" BUT you can send them an appeal, I've already sent them one and I'm still waiting. The good thing is your account will be banned until they read your appeal.

And you are so sure they will unban you?

You mean, that there are two messages? "FAILED TO CONNECT SERVER" and "FAILED TO GET DATA FROM SERVER.." or are the same messages?

I think that the best way is just wait some days, and try to log everyday, i will wait 7 days, got 4 accounts level 34+ banned
i will wait, meanwhile i will bot new accounts, but not as hard botting like before, just started last night and is level 23 now, but i wont have that dragotines 100% IV.....
I will wait and i recommend u to wait, cuz u cant trust what people is saying till u see with your own eyes.

If u try of put the name of your banned account in a new one, maybe can be a prove for know if your acc is perma ban.
But when i try this, i see 2 different messages when trying the 4 different accounts that i have banned now
"this username is already in use" and "this username is not avaliable" dont know the difference....

But the thing is, in my second account PTC when i try to change my name to the one that is supposed to be ban it says "username unavailable" so it means it is not really a perm ban?
and also ive been able ( just to try) login on pokesnipe2 and snipe a dragonaire.... so was it is you think guys?
i also contacted sephirolf in hope that he will be able to unban me..
and 2 hours later ive just login into pokesnipe and catch a dragonite but on my phone and nox it says failed to blablabla the ban stuff
So idont really understand what is really happening for me

I get the "failed to get data from server" error since the 14th of August.
I've got a level 25 account, I only botted once, 2-3 weeks ago, for something like 2 hours, and gained a level (from 22 to 23), but I've been using nox occasionally in my hometown to get gyms (only once accidentally I forgot to change the settings so I suddenly appeared in australia, got a softban), and Rocket AP in order to check the IVs of my mons and transfer them accordingly.
So I'm mostly a legit player (at least not a bot), but not innocent. It sucks to lose my one and only account.
Some people suggested if the username is not available, my data is not lost. I made a dummie account and indeed, my username is not available, so there's that.
When I connect with ALL G, my account level is zero, stardust and pokecoins still intact.
Not sure though that all these are solid evidence. Probably not.

Would you suggest to make a bot account at least until I reach my previous lv and collect some mons, maybe when the ban wave subsides? (or right now? what do you think?)
If so, with what client and settings?

After that bummer, I'm either quiting or breaking bad.

I had one account banned over the weekend (the same time everyone else started having issues) it was a level 22 and was 3/4 legit. I used nox emulator at walking speeds in my own neighborhood so I assume the fast leveling is what tipped them off.

So.... I started a second account on Sunday night and legitimately have it to almost level 13 by catching everything evolving all base low levels immediately.

I emailed support about this and got a reply about how to fix common login issues and responded that this was not my issue and asked them why my account was banned...

No response. I waited a day and emailed them again and was a little more pissed off.. I explained what happened.. Told them how easy it was to level quickly if you know the game already... Included my new LEGITIMATE account nickname and within 5 minutes it was banned 2..

Cannot login. I have a "failed to get game data from server" message. I can login to the ptc website but nothing is there? I googled this and many are having this issue but they say they used illegal programs.. I have used only the pokemon app so I'm not sure what is happening with my account. I use my phone a galaxy s5, and a tablet to access other household members are working fine so not a server or ip issue.. Appears to be specific to this account. Please advise.

I created a second, and on this account balls are rocketing off the screen without even throwing... Definitely programmed to do so to eat players ball count because it is obvious and always the first one..

Btw, my second account that I created after the "failed to load game data" on my original is already a level 13 in just 2 days... Check it, tell me it's not legitimate

Players being punished for leveling too fast is ridiculous.. If you've played before you can level so quickly by catching everything and evolving every base level immediately... It's not rocket science.... It's a kids game?

If your banning me for some reason please explain.... Give me notice.. I don't care what the tos says you cannot treat people this way.

There is also nothing illegal about a few hundred thousand accounts attempting to get game data at the same time... Anyone can try to login... Correct?

Wonder what a several hundred k botnet would do?

Lastly, try with your nickname (not username) and a random bad password and it will tell you the password is wrong... Nickname and password should not be connected at all???

No doubt they are having make issues with the login... The auto reply they send immediately to any support request says 'we realize all your shit is gone.. But don't worry it's still here.. Just jump thru a bunch of hoops to get it....'

My account that I farmed with.. Could (maybe should be banned) my other... And countless other legit people are getting the same message.... Do you think they would put the hammer down in such a way they lose daily active users?.. you know every app game fizzles very quickly.
