So I live in a rural area and have been using Nox to play. I got soft banned a couple times while working out how to use it but nothing since.
I haven't done anything crazy with it or used bots, just used the location spoofing to play in a nearby town.

Since yesterday evening I'm getting failed to get game data error.
I created a fresh account and my username is still in use, I levelled the new account to level 5 and checked out gyms I owned and my char still owns them.

It's been about 18 hours but no luck on logging in. If I was perma-banned wouldn't my account be wiped and I'd lose all GYMS etc???
Should I try support or just wait it out and see what happens? :/

Even if you're permabanned, your account doesn't get wiped. It's still there, you just cannot access any of the information.

This may change in the future, if Niantic becomes more confident in their cheating algorithm, but as of now, banned simply means, the player cannot login.

Is sephirolf service even useful for pokemon go? Since they dont even reply mail lol. Feels you have wasted your money on that service

It's official if you bot at all using any of the available bots they will find you. If you haven't gotten banned yet you will. I bot on an account for 1 hour and left it for a week and it was just banned. I quit. After botting playing the game legit is not the same.

I will wait till niantic answe my appeal.
I read a new that niantic can take up to 2 weeks to answer your appeal...... so i will wait while i play legit to an other account, but if i get confirmation from nianticthat im banned and they dont accept my appeal i will delete the application

1) Bans aren't even out 2 weeks. No one can be sure, that Niantic will require 2 weeks to respond. There's no data for it.

Well I got an email for both accounts (google and PTC) that my account was terminated. I still have an open appeal with the google account which I would really want back, and I'll probably submit an appeal with the PTC as well. Heres to hoping!

Maybe u should go an play pokemon go in the street, u shoul go to get sun light some hours at day and stay away from your cave.

My account got banned last friday aswell unfortunately, no soft bans and level 28 manually through NOX. I have manually sniped pokemon, went far out my own GPS location but always took travel time into consideration. I played the game both real life (taking over gym's etc.) and through the NOX app. I was kinda taken by surprise. Not that I was banned, but more so that it didn't take them as long as I expected them to take. I expected to be done with this game anyway by the time I would be banned and although I was on the verge of quitting, I still enjoyed playing it.

Haven't touched Pokemon ever since friday as I don't want to start all over again, but it does suck as I was still playing the game with others in real life. Honestly, this game just invites people to cheat as there is no fun catching pidgey's endlessly and just roam around hoping to catch a rare pokemon. If there is one thing using scan apps taught me is that catching rare pokemon is very, very, very unlikely especially when you live in rural areas. In a city there are tons and tons of pokestops, but where I live there are barely any.
