An update on Pokémon GO account bans
We continue to work to ensure the integrity of the game and the health of our servers by blocking unauthorized access and at times by banning offending accounts. This includes blocking bots, data scraping operations, and banning end user accounts associated with those activities. Some players may not have realized that some add-on map apps do more than just show you nearby Pokémon. Each end-user app can be used as a collection tool by the app creator, invisibly collecting and forwarding data to the app creator with or without the knowledge of the end user. These apps can have an effect similar to DDoS attacks on our servers. Because of this we have had to ban some accounts associated with using these add-on map tools, leading to confusion by some users about why they were banned. This is a small subset of the accounts banned.

As a result of some changes made to our infrastructure, we are now able to unban this set of accounts. Add-on maps which scrape data from our servers still violate our Terms of Service and use of them may still result in an account ban going forward. Accounts whose sole purpose was to scrape data are not being unbanned. Accounts which used apps or websites to remotely capture Pokémon, battle or deploy on Gyms, or harvest resources from PokéStops are also not being unbanned. Our main priority is to provide a fair, fun, and legitimate experience for all players, so, aggressive banning will continue to occur for players who engage in these kinds of activities.

after reading this, i download again pokemon go, and try to login with my "banned" account (despite cant login and failed to authenticate, i never received banned email)

and voila, my "banned" account is back to normal again with all its glory

my pokemon go account before it got banned :

- android 5.0.2 rooted with Xposed installed
- never ever EVER login on NOX or any PC emulator
- level 29
- 3 dragonite lvl 2900, evolve from a LOTS of dratini whom i got the location from skipplagged
- install POKEMON LIVE app from skipplagged (i think this one app that got me banned)
- root pokemon related app : FAKE GPS
- xposed pokemon app : POKEMON GO IV checker, POKEMON GO controls
- 99% always on fake gps/pokemon go control, 1% on foot
- couple of pokemon cp 1800ish at gym
- got a LOTS of soft ban, and ip ban (at my office wifi)
- never jump out of country, max jump radius within 50km

so i guess that fake gps + iv checker + rooted phone + lots of soft ban doesnt banned you, install pokemon location app does

while waiting this banned season is over, i'll try to play legit for couple weeks

I have got 1 account un-banned.

Ran Bot + Snipe at extreme setting for around 7hrs (reached lvl24 + tons of dragonite, snorlax larpras etc). Previously it was banned the next day.

Hahahah can't believe there are still bot users wasting time to level up and get banned soon. XD Come'on people. XD There is no updated API and you all will get banned soon. Oh my GOD!

I guess you just abused spoffing lol. Im playing since day one. With 4 accounts all botted lvl 30's... each account catched 7k pokemon atleast.. never been softban or anything.. its just your not playing it safe..
