Get your autoroot files from CF-Auto-Root
Install odin on your PC, boot your gsm into recovery mode following the chainfire autoroot instructions.
Install Joey Krim's 'Root Check' app to check root access Root Checker - Android Apps on Google Play

Step 3: Hide the Mock Location Bit from Pokémon GO
Install the Xposed framework from Xposed Installer | Xposed Module Repository
Open the 'Xposed Installer' app
Download module 'Hide Mock Location'
Open 'Hide Mock Location' and blacklist 'Pokémon GO'

Step 4: The Cheat
Buy and install Geert-Jan Uijtdewilligen's 'Mock GPS Walk' app Mock GPS Walk - Android Apps on Google Play
It will walk indefinitely around Manhattan, New York City. Catch Dratini and many other pokémon. Visit pokestops and hatch eggs.

You have got to be kidding me have you been under a rock the last month or you are pandering to the newbs who can't or haven't read anything in a MONTH.

1) This method is old even before bots, its plain old GPS spoofing.
2) There are FREE gps spoofers on android play store why the hell would anyone pay for this app?
3) This won't work with your crappy paid app on the new soon to be forced client 0.37 as Xposed framerwork is not compatible with the new client.

Using Xposed GPS Controller without any issues after turning off root with Magisk. Not all Xposed modules, eg Pokemon IVey, works. As long as the joystick/controller works, the rest is not as significant and happy to wait for a fix. Not have to worry about Mock Mock Location as I am not getting any rubber banding and PoGo still works fine.
