I don't think I had used this for a couple of days before I got the failure to get data from server on Monday evening, but I didn't use it to catch particular pokemon, I had all the pokemon bar far fetchd and the Australian one that i cant spell, i was really using this to get stardust, so completely random. Earlier that day I used a lucky egg and evolved a load of Pokemon, managed to get 72000 xp, shut the game down because I had 9 5k eggs about to hatch and was waiting till later to use another lucky egg while out walking, unfortunately that's when I was unable to log in. I got the termination email today after sending Niantic 4 emails, very standardised email, so I have replied and asked exactly why was I banned, I was nearly at level 34, I have spent a lot of time and indeed money on Pokemon, according to reports only botters were been banned, I have never botted, doubt I will hear anything back but will let you know if I do.

Since the developer is not responding here I figured I would update you guys since you are probably wondering why you got banned. Capture Pokemon uses a bot to catch Pokemon for you. If you looked @ their back end you would see when you click capture it catches that Pokemon that instant or when available with a automated bot for you, so it did not matter if you never used another bot previously because you used one when you logged into the site with you credentials. Not long ago this service was utilizing the 0.45 API which is easily detected and only kept around so Niantic can flag/ban accounts. Now this service does utilize the latest API as announced 4 weeks ago but even users using the latest API are getting banned, meaning all bots are seemingly currently detected. Nothing is safe ATM, I am sorry to see that you got banned & seem to of not known the full risks since there are not many disclosures before you click that button to capture the Pokemon you desire, but in least in the future you can make a more informed decision on which sites you let use your login credentials & can ask questions like which API are you using and what are the risks involved. I in least hope you did not lose accounts that are valued to you!

Thank you all for your quick answer. The truth is for now I am not banned yet. But perhaps I'll be soon. Even if I stop using capture pokemon right now, I'm not sure how many days/weeks, I'll have to wait to be sure that I am banned... or not ! Well, I'll let you know, but despite of what they say, it seems that there is a chance to be banned, and clients must know this if they use / buy from them. I find also "strange" to not have any news from our capturepokemon.net's representative here, but guess what's not the goal ! We pay and we cry (pun from Russian when "I pay" and "I cry" is written and said the same way for the first person ( "I") and that's all folks...
To give you a general idea, I used it every day one time in the morning, one in the evening about 1 hour each. I capture every "usual" and common" pokemon, not very often (as a matter of fact, very rarely) a Dratini for instance. I tend to take every IV.
I'll keep you posted.

Appreciate the feedback guys. My frustration isn't with getting banned, we all know the risks. Mine is with the lack of communication from Capturepokemon.net. Though i suspect they are being hounded by unhappy customers at the moment!

Thanks for that information, didn't know it was a bottle site, ah well, 7 months down the drain, only started on this site at level 31, just to get stardust, lesson learnt. Thanks again for explaining how it worked.

Sorry for the delayed reply - Unfortunately a week ago a change was made by Niantic that went under the radar for approximately 2 days, which resulted in our systems using an old API version when a force update was applied. Sadly, all major catching systems were affected and it resulted in any customer that had large amount of catches during this time being banned.
If you are one of the customers affected by this, please get in touch with us through email (link on the site) and we will credit your account back with all coins spent, to allow you to recapture everything that you lost, at no cost. For reference, we believe less than 0.01% of our customers are affected.
We have since changed how we detect forced updates, as well as having implemented a tripwire on the site that will disable all functionality and show an information dialogue until we resolve the problem (for those hitting our API directly, server side validation for the tripwire is also in place).
User account safety is our top priority. This is the first time that we've had validated ban reports using our site, and we are sorry if you were affected.
We are in the process of rolling out ball collection, leveling up and IV auto catching through the site, and I would invite you to use these services (for free) to get a new account back to where you were.
Thank you.

We have just rolled out a major change to how we find and display Pokemon on the site and more than tripled our server capacity.
The average wait time for a specific Pokemon to appear on site is now 7.8 seconds. You will be waiting no longer than 30 minutes for even the rarest of Pokemon to display on the site, at any time.
Please continue to get in touch through Facebook, Email or PM with any suggestions or questions. We will reply as quickly as we can.

We are now running the 0.55 API, ahead of the forced update.

We have just released a change out to the web servers that will now result in a few changes being visible:
Geolocation
- If you have disabled geolocation in your browser, you will be warned about it. Having this disabled is the reason for more than 90% of failed catches
Catch failures
- When a catch fails, rather than giving a generic error, we are now giving a detailed error explaining why the catch has failed. This can be for a number of reasons, the most common one being that this Pokemon has already been caught (caused by catching, pressing F5, then re-catching the same Pokemon)
Auto catches
- Auto catches will now email you once completed
Catch speed
- The catch process is now slightly slower. We have performed a number of changes to our systems, and are now exactly simulating the login process. Catches will take approimately 2 seconds longer each.
Site speed
- We have migrated all catch data in order to speed up the delivery of new Pokemon. Selecting "History" may now take a small time longer to load.
Pokeball collecting
- Pokeball collecting is now available for a subset of users whilst we test the feature. This will be rolled out universally in the coming days.

100IV Pokemon are also their own color now, and there are many more of them!

We have just released our Pokeball collection service onto the site. As part of this, there has been a minor redesign and certain features have moved around.
All Pokeballs also come with any other items collected during the search. This means if you're level 20 and ordering Pokeballs, you will also get Great and Ultra Pokeballs for free.
We have purposely priced the lower amount of balls to fall within the "free to use" range.

Looking at that website, the first post says you can always use the given coords to manually catch the mons, but I dont see the coords anywhere. Has this been removed over time?

Any new pokeball collections can now be cancelled if you wish to pause to play your account, or capture pokemon.
