use some virus scanners to make sure everything is gone... the virus scanner u use wil also give a name of the infection found U could use google to find out more about it and maybe some extra programs to remove it all..then change your passwords...all of them.
First, Get a few free virus scanners, because just one might not find it. Then, find and delete the keylogger, and change all of your passwords, please tell everyone what the keylogger might have been from so that we don't get it.
Isn't it bad to have more then one virus scanner? I remember I had to reformat because I had 2 different virus scanners
But yeah, just get a free virus scanner like AVG or something, but honestly you should think about getting a decent virus scanner, like one you have to pay for, but just crack it (I use NOD32)
well if I were you, I would get the file that keylogged ya, use virustotal.com to scan it using loads of virus scanners, google the infection name, and find the program best suited to remove it
try a free onlinescan like
Trend Micro HouseCall - Free Online Virus and Spyware Scan - Trend Micro USA
If you typed any of your passwords while you were keylogged, change them via the onscreen keyboard IMMEDIATELY and then reformat your hard drive, you'll be better safe reformatting than virus scanning.
do a system recovery to before you clicked on the keylogger
Data Recovery: How to Reformat Your Windows XP Computer
Make sure you've got all your drivers before doing this.
Virus scans can be fairly unreliable, I'd reccomend a system restore ATLEAST.
