Yes, if you send a message to that Ban Appeal, they will send you a message in return stating your account has been banned. Regardless of whether you actually have a Pokemon Go account on that email address with the selected ingame nickname, or not.

They will reply, that your nonexistant account is to be considered banned!

After Niantic changed the API the guys from Reddit needed 4 days to crack the "new API".

They noticed that the servers from Niantic are not only asking for your position, they are also asking for your height.

Since the Reddit guys were just interested in cracking the API and not into supporting a growing botting community, they did not changed the "height" value.

So we are moving around with our bots and our height doesn't change, it doesn't matter if we are in the Netherlands or catching Pokemon on the Mount Everest.

So in my eyes, all people are talking about human behavior of bots, changing speed and how clever they are that they did not get caught.
If someone is clever he should fix that problem inside the API and maybe we can **** this shitty company again!

Of course not all will be banned on one day, it take it's time to filter and proof millions of accounts, but just this fact should make it very easy for Niantic to detect everyone using a bot, even if it was only for one hour.

I've heard that theory about height. In fact that is not a theory it really makes perfect sense. Now that Niantic is sending out C&D would anyone dare make an improved bot? I think not which means botting is dead.....right?

Niantic aren't flagging accounts based on GPS ffs, do you know how many people have signed in without GPS/get "GPS could not be found" while playing the game?

It could be a factor in determining botters but it's certainly not how they're flagging accounts for review.

I have been Cheating from Day 1st with 5 accounts till last night. I never had any Legit account
but today one of my accounts is showing me this "failed to get blah and shit from server" and its my last account I used to cheat with snipe,
rest of the accounts are working just fine for now. I'd suggest you guys to stop bots for sometimes till it gets clear what Niantic is upto and save you accounts.
for fun I just created 2 more accounts and left them to bot to level up tho.
