I have been GPS spoofing with my main for weeks and its still fine.
You just gotta stay at a place and log out before jumping.
I never jumped more then 30km for a rare spawn and quickly logged out after.
I doesen't record speed aswell, i don't believe that because it would give them a huge pile of data. Everyone who drives, sit in train, fly on plane ect would be flagged.
Millions of fake reports to go through. They don't have time for that im sure.
Its reports they go after and implented non human behaviour. like i said before, catching to much or doing to much pokestops, to much accuracy.
Its implented in the game to soft ban you as a first warning and might get longer and end in a permaban if you don't stop doing what your doing.
One thing to add, they could simply bring in a code that watches your altitude when you play.
A spoofing / botting player doesen't change in altitude, a normal player does all the time.
That would be easy to implent i think.
Agreed. The human like settings got me banned this afternoon. I guess the altitude argument makes more sense

I can verify this. Playing legit my damn gps bounces all over the damn place because my screen times out between pokestops. If this is the behavior they banned me for then I have a grievance since that happens normally to me. I've even had the game bounce me to different towns nearby before.

you can't obviously log in from a country ip eg ethernet NOX and getting gps on the sea, the same way you dont connect to an american vpn to spoof on china
if you spoof on phone using data not wifi make sure the tower cell is on the same city you cant just fool GSM-GPRS-UMTS signal

Like catching 1000 pokemons on a day, walking to much km, or spinning 2k pokestops.
Hitting 1000 pokemons with a to high accuracy. I think thats what flags it.
I stil have multiple bots running, all without issues. I only log them a few hours a day, let them walk slow.
But i know im going to be in trouble once i get near 24 or 25 because of the accuracy. One of my 24 accounts had a 12 hour catch flee soft ban.
I see it as a warning.
same here , once i catch 1000 pokemon i got soft ban for 12 hours...

Ways they could easily detect you:
Walking the same co-ordinate pathways all the time (happens with GPX files - blizzard used a detection measure like this to counter GatherBuddy2 for WoW with waypoints)
Walking across oceans or buildings and not sticking to roads/pathways (happens when your not using GPX files)
Too many pokestops in one day
Too many pokemon in one day
Too many km in one day
Too much XP in one day
Botting for too long (i mean who is seriously going to be out catching pokemon for 24hrs?)
Using VPN with one IP that isn't directly connected to the same country (i.e Australia VPN IP but in America)
Altitude is always the same
Changing your location too often
I am sure there are countless more ways they can detect irregular activity. (bots)

I think all the botters here (including me, myself, and I) doesn't even care if our boted acc got banned (Altho we're not sure if this is 100% perma-ban or not (looks like it's 99% perma-ban tho)). I myself just made 2 lvl 25++ accs in the last 2 days following the so called "ban wave". So it's not a big deal.
The deal is I have my lovely main acc which I play 100% legit (lv 25) until I botted it for just 2 hours and then the next day get this beautiful message about a bunch of pokemon humbled by my response (and the failed data of course). I mean come on. I play it legit since day one release compared to 2 hours bot?
While my other accs which are pure 100% 24carat bot are fine till now.
Even the 2 new accs I made to intentionally attracting a perma-ban (oh yes i move 100-120km/h) for hours straight are fine.
Damn, if my main acc were left unscratched I wouldn't be typing this right now.
Just saying.. Keep the conversation and information going.
I also been here since page one

It's a common error ever since the game launched It happens, when the servers cant process your login information due to temporary overload. Just try again later, but that's NOT a definite sign of a banned account.
i hope your right about what your say. Dont wanna lost a 37 and 39 acc ;_;.

That's what I meant about pausing. How are you reaching such low xp/hr and p/h to not get soft banned. Can you do a pastebin copy of your config? Specifically i'm looking for delay values. I have mine set up to walk speed 14km/hr, but my delays are huge like 3-10sec each delay. I'm hitting about 16K exp/hr and 60p/h and I stop the bot many times a day for an hour at a time. My goal is to reach level 30 without getting soft banned (which out of 2 accounts, one already failed because I botted during sleep).
