Is there a thread detailing any success at appealing bans from Niantic?

I would guess it is trying to create an instance of your game data and is unable to retrieve that from the server (indicative of the error message you get from the app). This could be because of a server error or a ban on your account. Can't be 100% on any root cause at the moment...

We all know that this has something to do with botting and it prevents gameplay. What we do not know is if it is permanent. Some have suggested that these accounts are all flagged for further investigation. Some have claimed to receive an actual ban message from Niantic when they were permanently banned. The message "Failed to receive data from server" is definitely a game stopper for now, but it may or may not be permanent.

I am so tired of these shit posts ...
At the moment there is NOTHING confirmed, Niantic did say nothing about perma bans or how they work so far.
Don't try to sell your opinion as a fact!
Its only confirmed if Niantic says so, period.

Tried a few times on Nox with my "failed data" account...so far it's been stuck at about 40-45% with no "failed data" error or anything...just stuck.
Reinstalled the app, created a new vm...etc. same crap...
No idea what this could mean but jfyi.

I got the "catch flee" today morning.
I was watching the bot when that happened. A snipe triggered it (or atleast was the first flee).
When I noticed all pokémon where fleeing, I closed the bot immediately and went here to check what was going on.
After that, I configured the bot to just walk at 5km/h without trying to catch pokémons.
Left it there for 10 hours, just for pokestops, while I went to work.
I got back home and now everything is normal.
Now I'm running a config to snipe only with my skiplagged locations, walking at 5km/h and with humanized throws.
Been running for 2 hours now and no "catch flee" spree yet.'

Well, if you use bot, don't hope it'll comeback because i guarantee you it will never comeback, why? Because they wipe it clean, so bye-bye!

Thanks for the update, but regarding that email...did you contact them or did they just send it to you?

All source from Niantic's post. Nothing new. Please don't post the same thing.

Note: They have also deleted/erased everything in your inventory, i checked it with poke ninja and all my pokemon and items are wiped clean!! :-( sad!
Lol, they are not deleted or erased definitely, it's because u cant connect and get data from server, my god, be basic, dont be a doctor.
