As anyone with the failed to retrieve data from the server error got in?

I had many times such an error when "alt - tabbed" my nox during loading the pokemons.

So, while there may well be some forms of soft/hard bans, the servers are in a mess - Pokemon GO Server status! Check if it's down
Wait till everything's green and try again, then we may get some kind of info as to what's really going on as opposed to lots of people who can't be bothered to check server stats and assuming they've been banned.

I have an account that is catch flee banned an its 39 and a half. The thing is i got uber pokemons and have already catched em all on this acc, so if i still can fight gyms its not such a big deal to me.

I highly doubt they will keep it like that though.

Please keep this about the catch-Flee ban..

At fbs above, for some its rather clear its not server side if every single Pokemon you encounter flees on catch...

Guys my id seems weird i cant capture pokemon and cant get any item and exp from poke stop using necro bot, however i try to use unban method it saying successfully unbaned but still cant get pokemon and item nor exp from pitstop is my account baned or is it still soft banned? need help thanks

yes same with me..

exp and item from pokestop still work
but "catchflee" for pokemon

its about +- 5hours till now..

Even if it's a perma ban, why are you guys mad? You knew the risk.

Did i lost something? Yes. Do i care? Not really.

Just make a new account and let it bot again with human like settings. I'm running a new one for 3hours now without any softban. Of course, it will take longer to level up and shit, but who cares? You just have to let the bot run. No effort at all.

I have to edit:

If your electricity bill gets higher because your computer is on 24/7, just buy a cheap windows vps. I mean, thats like $3-5 per month and you can run the bot 24/7 for 30 days. Even if you only get 30k xp per hour, you'll be lvl 40 in 27 days (if running 24/7 on the vps - that's what i'm doing right now.)

I have 3 accounts: LVL40, LVL35 and LVL33

Only Lvl40 account used bot during night yesterday, and got " failed to retrieve data from the server"

I have just tried to login lvl35 and lvl33, all working good. No ban, no pokemon or pokestop issue.

Don't worry people. The login system is a bit broke today. I have an account that I HAVE NOT botted on and I get the error you guy are getting, I have another account that I botted all the way to level 35 and I CAN login on it. It seems the login system is being dodgey today. If you get any login errors please wait 24 hours before reporting please, just to make sure niantics shitty servers havent crashed

Regarding catchflee, isn't that just how the temp soft ban works? I've had it before; it depends on how far you've teleported and can last between 30 mins to 8 hours.

I'm fairly confident they're having issues with data/login servers since this is effecting accounts of forum users and personal friends with legitimate non-bot accounts.

I wouldnt be surprised if they want some botters to appeal so they can track them down and find other accounts on same IP or something, I'm not a technical guy

anyways though I doubt its the case and I'm sure they banned legitimate players in some kind of blanket ban and those are who should come forth
