They're probably temporarily blocking accounts that are suspected of cheating. After further investigation they'll either let you go or hand you your official ban.

From what I have gathered so far:

1) Unable to catch Pokémon but able to spin = New Soft Ban, maybe next to be hit with Banhammer.

2) Unable to retrieve game data + able to make a new account with the same name = Perma Ban + Account Deleted

3) Unable to retrieve game data = Maybe server issues. High chances you are banned.

People that are crying over their banned accounts, you should always be prepared to be banned.

I've just got another catchflee ban for the ID i'm botting with.

It was catching good for 1 hour 11 mins until the bot says that there's a trouble communicating with the Niantic's API in red color line.
before the line it was a catch success.

After it'd got connected again, it could do all the pokestops but with all the pokemon fleeing!!!
then i turned the bot off, restarted it, and bye-bye butterfree, they are all fleeing.

So my theory is that the catch flee ban started as because our IDs can't get into Niantic's servers properly.

By using devices/desktops, that would tell you to stop right in the front door before entering the game, as if the proper installment of PoGo App in devices telling you that "the pokemons now are currently not stable to catch, so stop there yo good fellas playing with your phones!! please wait until we fix them..." - but this doesnt happen to everyone because niantic's server coulnt work well...

As for bot has a different method of communication with niantic's API, it would get through anyway with all the errors that might occur in times around an hour or two if you playing at the moment... so then the bot would eventually find all the pokemons fleeing bye-bye...

THIS SOMEHOW MAKES SENSE TO MEH...

waiting until all of these are settled till we bot or play again might be the wisest choice for now.

Ok boys, officially NOT BANNED. I just logged into one of my supposed banned account that i have botted to level 36 and i can now login with no "server data" error. Thanks!

Its not a server issue...I can log in to the game with a fresh dummy account from the same computer the same IP everything but I cant log in with my "failed to get server data account"....it is not server issues it is a ban wave other wise I would get the same "cant get game data error" with the dummy account. this is all with google account.

New accounts dont get that error its the old acc that are getting these errors. it may be some kind of server overhaul

Dont believe this has anything to do with "Ban wave", i do believe it is server issues/technical issues, Ive been playing on nox lately, to obtain gyms to get daily coin bonus , tried about 45 mins ago and getting that error message, "cant get data from server", but once i log in on my phone, everything works great, so whatever it is, has something to do with the servers,
i have 1 bot currently running with no issues at all, been running for about an hour now, just have to wait until the issue has been fixed.



P.s, I have 10 accounts, 2 are main, rest are alts, and i get that error message only on nox with all accounts, complete different story on my mobile phone.
