i got the same error on main acc with 0 cheats and on the one im cheating like a motherfkr is a okay wait i mean on the 5 cheats acc but the one with no cheat got the issue

I have 3 accounts:
1 legit not botted once but logged in from the same IP as my other accounts , this is working fine as usual.
1 botted account which i havent used bots in since 1 week ago, logged in from the same IP as my other accounts, this is working fine as usual.
1 botted account getting the data error since yesterday while i was botting, was logged from the same IP as my other accounts.

It's definitely not a perma ban, I can log in just fine on my phone but on Nox its giving me failed to retrieve data.

I really don't think Niantic would beat around the bush about Perma Bans. If they perma banned you I'd imagine they'd have no problem telling you flat out.

I'm in a similar, but opposite, situation.

My phone gives ms the failed to retrieve data error, but I can log on Nox just fine.

So the account that worked the entire day, just got the same error as everyone got. It's strange, as it was a wave in the morning and now another one?

I was playing went to a Gym...and 5 minutes later i got no gps and then the error message.

Think it's a ban and not server issue - i hoped it was server, but it's confirmed i think it's a ban.

Oh well, time to go back to real Steam games

I also get banned and can't log in when I used bot on 3pm until 5pm..
When I arrived at home on 7pm, I tried again to login from my phone and it's work. I can see pokestops & pokemon, also I tried to catch pidgey around and successful.
I think this is just IP ban, not account ban. So when we login from our phone using mobile data then it's fine.

The servers are fine where I'm from but still no sign. Actually the servers are looking fine in almost every place else... No critic anymore

The game will only work fine if all the servers are ok not only the ones from your actual country?

Account 1, Haven't botted it in 2 days, just fine on real device

Account 2,
- Botted 3 hours last night while I slept.
- Had scheduled PC shut down
- Can catch pokemon, can't use pokestops, instant softban (but quickspin unbanned it no prob with a new IP)
- Can catch pokemon consistently via the PokeSniper bot
- Something between catching a pokemon and running to a pokestop triggers the softban

Account 3,
- Botted 3 hours last night while I slept...different IP than account 2, via VM and VPN
- Had scheduled PC shut down
- Just fine botting...(right now)

Going to try another account I haven't botted with in a while and will update. As for now, it appears to be random and one or the other (pokestops or pokemon).

Update:
Account 4 is fine botting...haven't used it in a while.
Will try all accounts on my phone in just a bit.

Update 2:
- Account 2 above can log into phone just fine, but I cannot use any PokeStops, all of them say "Try Again Later". Pokemon's do appear, but I have no pokeballs anymore so I couldn't verify if I could catch any.
