well there are right and wrong ways to do things, I mean when I was little, I did a lot of stupid things, but I learned a lot. Trial and error is the best way to learn IMO. When I started botting league of legends I got banned a lot. I corrected my errors and tried again. got banned. tried again. now their system is quite good and makes it very hard, comparing Niantic to them? I just LOL. Let kids get their accs banned. Let them start botting again. Correcting their mistakes. And get banned again. Then they will get really good. They will get the very best like no one ever was. They will eventually smarten up, either that or they will quit. which really ends up the same, the ones who know what they are doing stay the others get out. Darwin style I guess.

be smart, don't brag too much\don't brag to people you don't know or won't be cool with botting, and try to understand how Niantic tracks people, if you do that you will circumvent their systems eventually, and having a bot to just try to break the system in a controlled environment is a good way to learn

Yes, there are. There are two players in my area that legit got to 30+ now. One of them started as soon as the game was released and already purchased a bike, charger that charges his phone through cycling and other tools as well do you can guess how seriously this guy took the game and he probably bought stuff too. He was level 18 by his second day of playing.

The other guy is someone who roams around in a group of about 5 people and he is level 30; I know this because he was just in the gym closest to my house.

However, they can tell that you are cheating just to see one of your log and see that now you are in Germany and 30min next you are in Auckland. That's already a good reason to ban you. Than they can also see that you snipe from your home a dragonite, that you are moving 24/7 200/300 km/h (you live on that train or what the hell?)

No one can confirm whether or not sniping alone leads to a ban, all we can suspect is that a flagged account that has activity of sniping will probably get banned, but whether sniping flags the account to begin with is a guess.

I TKINK sniping gives you away, that was the common denominator with my accs. I have bots running right now nonstop, locally for the past 2\3 days W\O sniping and are ok not even 1 softban, I started severall bots with various types of sniping and they are starting to get soft banned

Well, just confirmed another account of mine is not able to log in. Used Haxton to get 1-20 in like 2 hours or less...then necro to 29 in a day.
It must have happened some time yesterday I haven't checked it since then. Other accounts still able to log in that did everything else outside of Haxton (sniping, teleporting...etc)...but, my first "banned" account never used Haxton and was not botted for nearly a week, so idk what kind of shit triggers the bans, if there's any, other than simply botting.

Jfyi, to narrow down things for anyone trying find a possible pattern.

C'mon guys, thats obvious how they catch who were botting and who's not. We are permabanned, I hope not but it wouldn't be a surprise. Try to think just for a minute.
For a month peoples were "walking" at 200 km/h (I didn't do that, who did that its a retard), loot and catch PERFECTLY pokemons and get 100-150k (maybe more)~ exp/hour, level up in few days till lvl 30 and so on. Than they update their Api and STRANGELY 99% of those peoples shows as unactive or go down to gain 8k exp/h. Than devs crack again the Api and AGAIN peoples were catching pokemons 24/7 on their private fu***ng jets at 200km/h.

Now, who is the stupid? We thought Niantic, but the truth it's that we were dumb as fu**. Me inclused.
And remember that the retards that softban themself to change location with the fastest way were yelling "NIANTIC EHY EHY, I AM SPOOFING. I-A-M-S-P-O-O-F-I-N-G!! I JUST MOVED FROM TOKYO TO ROME IN FEW SECONDS. DID YOU SEE THAT?".

My accounts for the most part were run at 5-9km/h, stopped in intervals, no sniping,no teleporting, when it was incorporated as a feature it also had humanized throws with an increased miss percentage

All of them were still banned

I had accounts running at 8k xp/h that stopped 2 weeks ago that didn't play continuously that were banned

There are people that didn't even bot that were banned

Seems like you are not able to make more than ~240 000 XP a day without being banned

There are reports of people who just sniped not getting banned though.

Anyway, there doesn't seem to be any strict criteria under which Niantic are banning accounts which is why I said before that it's either inefficient or taking a long time to get to the remaining accounts.
