Had the same issue with one of my lvl 36 accounts. It got reset completely. Level 1, had to talk to the professor, go through tutorial, catch a starter, pick a new name, etc.
However, afterwards, it got back to lvl 36 and pokemon were still there.

Seems to be a data glitch on Niantic's server more than anything.

After 36 hours I dont have much hope. But who knows.
I hope there is a fix for it. It was my gf account. She was not using bot after the whole API change.
My account I use nox/snipe/necro/pokemob/haxo IS FINE!
Thats why I still have hope.

I had an account whose nickname was "Armazard" (botted just for some hours 1/2 days, got to level 28, it was 21,5 and clean before)

Today i recreate a new account (full botted, lv 19 now) and.. Yes, I tried to rename it with my old nickname "Armazard" , just for test, and it works.. So i'm not hoping to rehave my old pg back, that would be so unrealistic, you can't use a name that already has been taken by someone..

If you don't believe me re-do the same thing and check yourself! Atleast i'm pretty sure that we are all perma banned now

I already tried that and my name is taken by someone. In that case, me. And I couldn't get my nickname to the new account...

I can still see my "banned" accounts Pokémon at the gym and when I made an attempt to change an alt account's Nickname to the one that is "banned" it would not let me.

Guys im using PogoBot, and i have the catch flee problem, i can get pokestops but cant get pokemons..

False: I Tested again with my old name and it says This name isn't available.

Or maybe they remove the names in time and not all at once? Depending on their algo...

chillout guys, soon some1 will fix it and post it on forums. be patient. we all have that bann, its not a real bann.

If its a ban from niantic server sided. Than its IMPOSSIBLE to get unbanned IF its a perma ban from the company it self. No bot or hack will unban it.
The reason softbans can be exploited is cuz of the exploit after u login the game. But perma bans is literally the end of that account.
Soft bans such as being able to log in but fleeing and pokestops not working will be fixed after the soft ban time but if its perma ban there would be no fix for it.
I stopped botting after the most recent update cuz i know they are bringing in new stuff to the game so they will be hardcore banning very soon and right now banning the obvious accounts.
But right now its not 100% if the cant get data from server is a perma ban or not. Thats the question. Botting is risky period right now. I just snipe now manually and play normal for catching and walking on NOX and its actually more fun now and has a point of playing the game lol. Ill stop the botting if u dont want to get banned. Soon as trades come. Its going to be insane banning before it comes out.. I lost a lvl 38 account with alot of perfect dragonites but i still got my 5 other main accounts with lvl 34~38.
Not sure if this is true but i spent $9.99 on all my accounts and little more on my main account.
Funny thing is they didnt ban any accounts where i had more than 500 gold coins left and the 1 acct i got banned or the server no data error had only 50 gold coins. Maybe just a coincidence. Im pretty sure the cant get game data from server is a ban but i hope its not perma ban.
They also said they coming out with rankings for pokemon go and hackers or people who get banned will be getting 30 day bans 90 day bans than perma banned 3 strike rule and first time u get caught u get kicked off the ranking system. Not sure if this is true also. Just heard it on sliph thread. I just want my banned account ban. Hope its not a perma ban lol.
