Did you use a middleman?: No, at the time I believed Toonbay to be reputable.

Explain what happened: After speaking with an individual on their live chat feature, I purchased a battle.net name change from Toonbay on August 7th, 2013. I submitted the requested information via email an August 9th and waited two weeks with no reply. After multiple visits to their website, I was finally able to reach someone through live chat who managed to get ahold of Jeremiah. He added my Skype on August 21st, and we spoke about the name change over the course of the following two weeks. I asked to be refunded, but was told at the time that Toonbay did not offer refunds. The battle.net name change was finally attempted on September 5th, and I was promptly notified by email that the account had been locked. I contacted Jeremiah and was told that this had "never happened before once." Once it became clear that nothing could be done to unlock the account, Jeremiah offered me a refund (Wednesday, Sept 25) and told me that he would contact Reilly. When I checked in with him two days later, Reilly had not been contacted. He set up a group chat between the three of us, but Reilly did not join. After visiting the site, I finally reached Reilly via webchat and was able to add him to Skype. We spoke briefly on September 28th, and I was told I would be updated the following day. I wasn't. After over a week of no contact, he replied on October 8th that he was "bout to call paypal". I waited. And waited. On October 22nd, I contacted EpicNPC and was advised on October 23rd to open a dispute if I had not been refunded within 48 hours. Since then, they have continually refused to refund me and been banned as scammers on EpicNPC for refusing to reply to my dispute there. While at this point the chances of a refund seem slim for me, I want people to be aware of the type of 'service' Toonbay provides. I will continue to search for their advertisements and open disputes until I am refunded or they are infracted/banned everywhere.

Jeremiah, whatever excuse you may think you have, I purchased this service from Toonbay. As you are the owner of Toonbay, it is your responsibility to make this right. For once, dispense with the excuses and do the right thing.

Jeremiah was a moderator in OwnedCore about a year ago. It's sad he would do such a thing. And it's sad they kept giving you excuses for not being able to refund, that's just unacceptable. I hope Watcher will help you get your money back.

Jeremiah was a moderator in OwnedCore about a year ago. It's sad he would do such a thing. And it's sad they kept giving you excuses for not being able to refund, that's just unacceptable. I hope Watcher will help you get your money back.

It is sad, I agree. All I asked for was for the payment I made to be refunded even though the account was locked (and likely not able to be recovered at this point). Evidently they thought I was just going to move on, but I'm not that type of person. It's the principle of it more than anything else, and I don't want others to have to deal with similar situations in the future.

Jeremiah has been notified to fix this issue. Because it's bad business for him to be known on sites as a scammer or a company you can't trust. Giving it couple of days then i will be adding them on skype to try to fix this issue. As something must have gone horribly wrong to lock the account. And we will hear his side of the story.

Closing this thread as it was done on epicnpc and not OC. Therefore, it doesnt have anything to do with us. I will not delete it though, so it will still be searchable

Jeremiah his sales are getting locked on ownedcore untill the issue is solved. So all future sales from Jeremiah are getting denied on ownedcore as we don't want to be involved into any scamming.

And Reilly that is holding the money is now labeled scammer. I got all his personal info but i am keeping that to my self for now. His sites are getting posted here once i finished my investigation. They will be labeled as high risk for getting scammed as he does not bother with any refunds at all as he is sure of him self even if the deal went wrong. That he has the right to hold the money.

I had a chat with him and was like talking to a small child... I just hope he does not do customer support. As threatening people is a thing that he does and thinks to get away with it...

To keep the thread updated. I had a chat with Jeremiah and he is looking into it now to come to an agreement with you as he is the owner of Toonbay now and got nothing to do with Reilly. And when this occured Reilly was the owner and is holding the money.
