I vote for a popup if u wanna give rep or not if a) its only active in the wow section (exploits,scams,exploration,bots,...) and 2 it only appears the first time u reply in a thread

Yepp. And... I mean, what can you do about it?

I personally really like your idea about when someone leaves the forums, asking "Was this helpful", and then having like a number of thumbs up or thumbs down at the bottom of your post for answering yes or no. Seriously, who likes to spend a bunch of time on a post, trying to help people, and then no one reps, comments, or anything, that way at least you get some sort of responce.

Maybe add 1 point of reputation for every 5 thumbs up. Just something.

Then the leechers will use pop-up blockers, and that seems like it will waste bandwith

Leechers will be leechers, nothing will change that. At least it wasn't like before, where there was no leecher status.

Yeah, a little thing that asks if you'd like to give rep, when you post a reply, would be nice.

Theres something else that has to be considered too, though. The fact that it isn't a breeze to get rep does prevent too many people from having access to the private forums and changing passwords on accounts and all. Right now people really value their rep. If it was easy to get it wouldn't be a big deal anymore. Its one of the things that really keeps the site alive.
