Maybe a better suggestion would be to have a game review competition each month and top 3 game reviews are posted in game reveiws section?

Why? Reviews are also made on the thing you're reviewing, not just the person reviewing it.

You can review anything by rating them with the thread-rating tool, that tool is underrated.
But this isn't Jeremy's thread and this suggestion have been turned down if I can read KuRIoS reply, let's leave it here and see what happends to this thread.

You can write a review in the general gaming section. I do like the competition idea. The newsteam will look in to it.

We had a review contest back when the original news team was around and it went great. Got a bunch of new reviews that went over very well with the readers. I'd suggest doing it again.

You could add a subforum in the review section, where members can post a review, and that thread can only been seen by moderators+ (as well as the author so they can change it) but only mods+ can reply.

If it's deemed site worthy by them, then they'll move it to the Reviews Section and lock the original post but open it for comments. If the author wants something changed in the OP they can just PM a mod.

This way there wont be spammed game reviews, but more quality reviews will still be published.

Ye, it's a nice thing for the new's team but just having a place where people can post it etc etc, then we rate it blabla. Would be way too messy, if the news team bother doing it, fine.
