I disagree with OP and Phygar's idea... why not just force people to use the general section? I honestly don't see why we need to post comp threads in shared.

I've seen some topics now and then like "post your computer problems here" but sometimes there isn't a post in there for a month or two and then suddenly there are 5 in a week, but the thread is outdated now so they need to make a new topic
