WoW or GuildWars?

guildwars got higher score in story that WoW? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!!! think,burning legion,dark portal,illidan,malfurion,uther,archimonde,i didnt even know guildwars had a storyline...wow. WoW got 9.5 IN GAME INFORMER!!!! guildwars got like 6/10 come on.the only game to get 10/10 though was ****ing zelda for the wii... XD atleast that i know of.

lol... one quest for uther. And if you knew GW they have intro for every mission (not every quest). And to be honest you can not compare them but it really pisses me when someone doesn't know the game they are talking about. Do you know why blizzard put illidan and other W3 character into the game? To get better profit ofc.

guild wars has better graphics... but when i first played it i didnt really understand what was going on... also when i finally understood the PvE isnt very good. WoW is good because it continues on from warcraft and all those other stratgey games.

Don't buy it, I bought it because I thought "Maybe it'll be like WoW", I was wrong..

you dont buy a game that is similar to an already played game... ffs. GW is something different and its quite nice. I decided to stop WoW 3 days ago (been playing it since day 1) and im hooked on GW now. Im also an anime fan so I guess i like it more since it has a race (assasin) witch reminds me of samurai style anime char.

on a serious note tho gw to me is like counter strike when youre bored of hardcore wow farming or pvping i go on gw and start to pvp basically in other words like cs but mmo version i wouldnt say gw sucks the emotes are fun and the graphics own but wow just has much more to offer

When I play I just annoy people, that's the only fun part of the game. I forgot what class it is, but one of them looks like they're humping the air when they dance, so it's always fun to go behind people and not say anything and just start doing that.

Guildwars is kinda boaring :/ I´ve tested it, and I also got friends who is playing.

Guild Wars: When i first started playing GW I had no clue what I was doing, I was often lost and took a very long time to figure out just the basics. Options that should have been easy to use were buried under piles of menues and hard to find. The game looked nice, but seemed to play a little bit fake (ie. WoW's cartoon style felt more realistic...). When I finallt got everything figured out, I realised it was just missing something (what, I do not know) and was not very entertaining.

WoW: From the minute I made my first character I was led step by step on how to do stuff, allthough i did end up deleting my first character because I really screwed him up. WoW's interface is highly intuitive and easy to learn, Its some how easier to meet people and get along/ have a good time with them, and WoW's storylines and quests just make more sense. On a down side, WoW relies too much on 'grinds' (rep, exp, gold) and the quests get very generic very fast.

Over all WoW just seems to be naturaly a better place to meet people, have some fun, and jus go out and know what you are supposed to be doing. It may put you down 13-15$ every month, but theres something about it that is just... better.

I know it aint part of the discussion but I beleive Lotro (Lord of the rings online) Is way better than both guild wars and wow... why? Contrary to what many may beleive lotro does not have anythingto do with the movies.

1. The storyline is one of the best I have seen in an mmorpg...
2. almost every quest has to do with end-game content.
3. graphics are spectacular.
4. You can jump.

One thing though that might put off many players are the items in the game. Sure they are great but nothing fancy like in wow. No incredibly oversized weapons with shiny effects and stuff. Lotro is more realistic in that aspect.

However it is not as social as wow. I found that making groups is far more dificult than in wow. Other than tat its a preety enjoyable game.

I cant speack for guild wars as I have never played it, but it confuses me. All the different addons... and I still dont know if you need the original to play nightfall for example.:confused:

I dont play wow cause it makes me sick...just thinking about doing quests blizzlike makes my stomache do backflips while riding a unicycle. To kill time I play cs with bots so i can own them.

With the come of TBC the whole gameplay and experience turned in to utter crap. I really really really hate outland and it's content because it's not enjoyable for people that played wow pre-tbc and enjoyed it very much. Although I never ever was addicted to it.

I never played Guild Wars or LOTRO but I will be checking it out.

i would really give WoW a 8.5 and gw a 9.0 cuz GW is pretty much only pvp because once u hit the highest lvl (20 i think) theres so much crap about pvp
