    FPS help -.-

Ok, need some help. I'm having some fps problems with wow. I have done all the tricks to boost it and it does help some but it's just not enough. In 10 man raids I'm getting 4 fps during fights and 9fps while not fighting. I'm getting about 14 fps in bgs and when there is a mob of people about 6 fps. In major cities i get about 20-30 fps but thats about it. I am convinced that maybe a drive or something is failing on me and I'm pretty sure the computer heating up is causing some of it too because when I first turn on the computer, I get decent fps everywhere but it goes down fast. I am such a nub when it comes down to computer specs and stuff so can you guys walk me through this? I have a 149 gig hard drive and 1.5 gigs of ram and a decent graphics card that i can't tell you right now because I can't find it. Can anyone help?

    EDIT: k got my specs.
    Mainboard : Intel D925XBC
    Chipset : Intel i925X
    Processor : Intel Pentium 4 540J @ 3200 MHz
    Physical Memory : 1536 MB (3 x 512 DDR2-SDRAM )
Video Card : Radeon X1300/X1550 Series
    Monitor Type : Gateway FPD1975W - 19 inches

Network Card : Realtek Semiconductor RTL8169 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter
Operating System : Microsoft Windows XP Professional 5.01.2600 Service Pack 3

    Anything I need to improve?

The only two hardware issues that I could think of

    Your video card
    or
    Your processor

I'm thinking it's your card rather then processor.
The 1300/1550 is pretty outdated and yea you might want to consider upgrading that. P4 is also a dying technology

Ya I'm thinking the video card too because i have trouble watching HD videos on youtube now. Lags way too much. Would that cause it, anyways?

    would this one be good?

That website is litteraly overcharging you 110$, that card is kinda crap

    Try something like

    Newegg.com - XFX PVT98GYDLU GeForce 9800 GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards

Much better and a very good card for the price

This card as well... if you perfer ATI cost a little more but they're about the same, this one will give u a few more FPS

Also, depending on what type of RAM you have, you might want to upgrade to about 2-3 gigs? RAM should help you through big cities mainly but for the most part a video card is what you need.
