3DMark06 - WoW - FPS - HELP!!!

Hi MMOwned.

I need serious help from someone who knows computers.
I've tried different forums and no one really know what I
can try.

This is my computer setup:

Motherboard: Asus P5N-D 750i SLI
CPU: Intel E8500
Graphic: Asus HD4870 1GB
Power: Corsair 650Watt
Memory: Corsair XMS2 - DDR2 SDRAM - DDR2 800 (400mhz) / 4GB


What I have tried:

I tried to load default settings in BIOS.
I tried reinstalling windows and reinstalling ALL drivers.
I tried reinstalling WoW with no addons or anything. (This actually gave me lower FPS)
I tried cleaning out my computer.
I tried DxDiag (Everything were working as it should)
I tried different Video options in WoW and Catalyst. (Driver program)


What did I get from this? Nothing. In the beginning I had like
25-30 fps in OG depending on how much people.
Now I barely get above 20.

Here is my 3DMark06 Score:

3DMark Score 6630 3DMarks

SM 2.0 Score 3826

SM 3.0 Score 4465

CPU Score 872


Some guy at my other forum said that people with my or like my computer setup gets between 14,000 - 17,000 score.
CPU score of around 3000.
SM 3.0 score of around 7000.

And look at my score.

I would really be glad if someone here have had such a crappy problem or anyone who knows what else I can try. Otherwise I will have to spend my rent money on a new computer (Yes I'm a geek, I know)
If there's something I have missed. Do not hesitate to ask.

Driver update + windows update? Defrag?

I recently reinstalled all my drivers, as mentioned in my post.
Windows is fully updated too.
Would i need to defrag when i reinstalled my whole computer
like 1-2 weeks ago?

there is something wrong with your CPU only ~800 points is seriously less. I get with E8400 @ 4Ghz & 4870 512MB 17k 3DMark06 Points.

Look in your BIOS which FSB and CPU Ratio is set.

Maybe you need for format your computer and install a fresh windows..

download this CPUID

and see if the mhz are right.
