Hey guys... I was just wondering if anybody could tell me how to do this effect?

Like the colours at the background are all like motion blurred... and like, illuminous?

Basically how i can re create this effect to put text of my own on it!

In photoshop, create a text -> duplicate the layer -> rasterize type -> apply filter - stylize - wind.

You might want to flip the text if you want it to go up-down instead of left-right.

The colors can be created multiple ways, i remember seeing a tutorial on this effect on the internet.

Just to show you guys what came of it...

Me and a few people are putting together a warehouse dubstep gig in august and i decided to make the logo with this effect

I reckon a background would do it good, it's too plain with just the text and its effects. Maybe it's not done yet, I don't know, but it'd be better. Some variation of the main text and subtext is also almost required to distinguish them - perhaps just different colors or different waves. Be sure to create a new thread with the complete poster as well, we need some more activity

Nah guys, It says "Eat My Bass" _<<< the name of our gig

and underneath it says "August" << the date
