Maybe you can make something cool in after affects by using the photoshop layers.

I've used AE some too, if you could maybe explain a bit...? Like, do you want the gradient effect on the wind change colors? That's how i understood it. I could look into it and maybe figure it out.

Ye man... like change colours... but not just fade colours.. like scroll... so say pink was the first colour of the waves... the pink would move from the start to finish... while other colours join behind it.. if you get me? xx

Make 1 layer of the wierd shapy lines (white). Then put a rainbow layer above it, set layer mode to hue/color and animate it ..
