And yes I am pissed, idgaf about winning, hell i didn't even get a chance to be entered, i wasted ****ing 35 hours or more to have it ****ing "something that I could see myself using as a wallpaper." Reflection and I based the 10 nominees out from our opinion so of course a contest is biased and a subjective opinion.
We went with what WE would use as a desktop background and reflection couldnt say if he wanted his in the last 10 either. I looked at the images for the first time when doing the poll and that was without the names on those who submitted it. So i couldnt care less about what Dragonshadow thinks as that would make it even more biased.

IF we had decided to go for Graphical skill and effort then for sure yours would have been in the list, but that is not what we judged on. Naturally you have the right to be dissapointed, but such contests are and will always be subjective opinions where we try to be objective, we tried to be objective by not looking at who had made what, besides from reflection not being able to nominate his own entry.

Hopefully that gave you some understanding as to why your entry wasnt added.

Imo should've had more people choosing what "they" would use, and shouldn't've allowed so many entries (one per person and finals only is good, not that v1 v2 v3 bull) to begin with. What you would use, I would use, he would use, maclone would use, and remus would use are all very different.

A wider range of eyes = a better range of submissions to vote on. Also, it needs to be truly blind, as in submissions are not posted on the thread (So only one person knows who made it, so your "judges" aren't biased in the slightest)

Oh and side note: graphic contests should last a week minimum, you would've gotten helluva lot better submissions.
