Signature for a friend, would like your opinions

Hey guys, I've been meaning to ask your opinion on some of my work since many people do some really amazing art in this forum, and I made this signature for my friend recently so thought I would put it here before show him it in case anyone has any ideas for improvement. He wanted something magical and "maybe a crystal ball or magic potion".

Also, I was inspired by another users signature (cant remember who) for the text glow rings

to many brushes used, not enough lighting and colors are off. but not bad for a beginner

Thanks XC4T4LY5TX but would you explain a little more? I guess I understand the lighting, but i'm not sure what you mean by the colours are "off". Also, I only used 2 brushes, one for the orange pattern and one for the texture, are you saying the texture is too intense or that I should only use one (texture) or the other (pattern). Thanks again
