I know, I suck at text. If you happen to know a tut to make some nice text I would love to see it.

very good critique guy. you'll be lucky if he types up a paragraph or two, really helpful.

imo everyone should try giving some advice instead of waiting for carlosj, HE CAN'T TYPE A WHOLE PARAGRAPH FOR EVERY SIG.

your current sig looks nice, not sure whether its just the render/stock you used but it doesn't really matter. you need to work on text though. try not to use fonts that you think looks super cool and then add in some "blending effects". the blending effects can work really well, you just have to use them properly (i suggest never going near bevel). i think you got lucky with the depth, most stocks/renders don't have a lot of depth so you have to add it in your self.

as for tuts, google search gfx site or something. there are tutorials EVERYWHERE! its not hard to spot them.
