    Alright, UglyObiSecond did an awesome update. This one is minor compared to his, but might fix some of the challenges with the running around the bridge after a mission. Basically, I sent some key press up commands to each of the buttons used in the bot when the mission is done so that the mouse and buttons aren't stuck down. Previously, with the mouse buttons held down, the mouse version of walk seemed to happen. Combined with the mouse moving all around trying to perform tasks, and you ended up with a really athletic toon that doesn't know how to get back to his galaxy map chair and keep focused.

    So here is 369b, based on UglyObiSecond's 369a with my minor update. I also updated Zosha's mission slightly to include an EMP if you have it available. Otherwise the playback is the same.

    I am also not compiling my version, although that may disappoint some of you. I strongly recommend downloading AutoIt3 if you haven't and compile the script by right clicking on the .au3 file and selecting "compile x86". Since one of the .DLL files is already compiled in 32 bit, I don't believe that compiling in 64 bit will work, although you are welcome to try!

    I also recommend making small changes to the code if you are comfortable with it. This will prevent your version of this bot from looking like someone else's, and therefore might be that much harder to track down if the game masters start looking for certain signatures.

    Finally, I will start working on the security question section. Please be patient with me on this, as I have next to no experience coding with AutoIt specifically, and jumping into someone else's program requires a certain amount of orientation. I estimate that this might take a week, but might be longer. I will continue to monitor this thread, however, if you have any questions or are curious about an update.

    Looks like the bail is still not properly exiting properly. I'm working on a patch for that before getting to the security questions.

    Alright, I think I got the bailing problem well and truly fixed now. However, due to some errant variables not being where I needed them, I *might* have broken the record feature. I haven't tested that feature, but I did some really rude stuff to that poor record subroutine. But hey, you can still record with any of the previous versions and play them on this version for the win. I need to clean up the mission playback and record functions some more and then I will ensure record works in my next version. Or, BreadGuy could come back and save us from my terrible patches!

    Anyway, here is 3.69c!

    Oh wait, that is based on B? C should have fixed that that particular bug in B.

    That would have been a more graceful fix than the butchering I did to make C work, but I imagine that the playback routines need cleaned up anyhow. This may be a weekend project for me.

    Has anyone had a chance to test out 3.69C and verify that it is working for extended missions? It seems to be working locally for me, allowing me to do around 200 missions in a row, with around 8 bails (recovered from). Seems to be working as intended.

    I attempted to use crewbot on 5 characters for the first time the other yesterday, and as soon as the first character was finished, the bot attempted to find new characters without logging out. It would cycle through "looking for character, character found, what companions are available, mission selection. This would cycle through 4 times (the number of characters I had selected to gather on). It never actually logs out, it goes straight from selecting missions on the first to looking for character.

    I know I've seen / read countless threads about "use your own images and this is everything". But honestly I don't know which images I should replace, I've tried the Logout.jpg and logoutyes.jpg (I'm in a rest zone, so I didn't change the immediate image.) After changing these, I realized the bot doesnt even hit the 'esc' key it just automatically begins searching for a new character after mission selection.

    Any advice?

    (I'm using bread's hosted 3.69 file)

    I'm not sure what modifications you have made to your current configuration, but I can offer you some tips for a base install like the 3.69c I posted:

    First off, you have to define your character images. The way that works is that there is a folder with a set of images in it. Those images are how it knows what to look for in the game to figure out what is going on. To start off with, you would need to take a screenshot of something unique in your character's box in the character select screen so that it knows where to click for that character. For example, to configure your "first" character, you would go to your character select screen and verify you are in 800x600 resolution. Once there, hit the printscreen button on your keyboard (some keyboards require you to hold shift while hitting this button). Then you would go to a program like MSPaint and hit "Paste". That will paste the whole screenshot in there. You would then highlight a small square or rectangle from inside your character's box, say the name of your character or perhaps the class icon, if you only have one of that class. Once selected, crop the image. Windows 7 at least has a crop button, which gets rid of everything in the screenshot except the portion you selected. Save the cropped portion as "firstchar.jpg" and make sure the type of the file is jpeg, and save it to the images folder in the bot. That is how the script knows where to click to select your character!

    Another thing you might need to look into is that you run the script as an administrator. Right clicking on the program, selecting properties, and looking under compatibility will allow you to select "Run as administrator". Failing to do so might cause images to fail to be recognized, or clicks not to register.

    I've got the images set up pretty well. The first day I tried using this about 2-3 weeks ago, I took images of the whole character screen from class portrait over to Imperial logo,then realized that the class and level changed colors as each character is selected; so that took me about 2 hours of shameful aggravation. But since then I've got crewbot to run perfectly for 7-8 hours from character log-on screen to crafting, if I'm only using 1 character.

    The only time I run into problems is if I try to use multiple characters at once.

    Ah. I misunderstood. I haven't used the multiple character trade skills feature personally yet, but I know second hand that it works when not space botting at the same time. Not sure what tricks my friend uses to make it happen.

    Perhaps I can look into it some once I get a couple characters set up.

    guys help. I have a problem. bot does not click the icon crew skills. Bot wrote "looking for Bioanalysis. Begins to press on the place where there should be a window with crew skills. What should I do to get him to open a window with a crew skills?

    I run as admin always. He still does not press crew window. If I did open crew window, he close it and start to click on the place where he was. why he closes the window crew but does not open? ). Perhaps there is an alternative solution to this problem?
