updated spacebot + crewbot

is there any problem after patch? before patch i used couple times perfectly but then it starts to not finding my chars. I made over 20 char screenshots non worked... I tried try crop down and up my images to smaller or bigger box but not solved my problem.

Btw used 3.68 and 3.69 version.

Try using a different character slot. Instead of using Character 1, for example, set him up on character 3 or 4 and try again. That was a workaround for me.

Breadguy seems not to be actively monitoring this thread, so it is hard to say what is going on.

If UglyObiSecond gets his update posted, I will look into fixing some of the bugs if I can. That is the beauty of open source.

I don't know. Sorry. You might ask that outside this thread, as the missions are timed and are therefore fixed values. This would be unrelated to bot functionality.

I think I found another problem with the current code base. When the event for the mission run start is missed, either due to lag or some other variable like the screenshot being off, the bot will continue to run the mission despite bailing!

I think I can add a check for this condition and skip the playback, which results in your toon running stupidly around the bridge of your ship and violently destroying any chance of recovering and doing another mission. I'll keep everyone posted on my progress.

I had found this a while ago. I'm not sure if it is still up to date or not but has seemed to be correct for me so far. I think the comms are the only thing wrong. I always use Aeten - it's between 8k-9k per mission.

Due to Bread Guy didn't respond not on forum, nor via Skype. I post my version of HIS bot.

To avoid any claims - I correct it for MY purposes, so all corerctions / screens / delays / operations done for my comfort, which, of cause could be uncomfortale for any other.)

Ver 369 - used as base
Short list of improvements inside:
- fixed problem with character choosing if only spacebot activated and your character in slot No 1 (for me - working...checked during 3 starts...)
- auto setting video to very low
- auto setting GUI to default (but I did not remove the signs about default GUI - too lasy (( )
- auto quitting from mission if not recognised key picture (hope working, at least MUST be - looks that I found the reason, but .....)
- Crew bot now searching for any rich / Bounty mission if no "specified by You mission" was not found
(If you want to farm ONLY rich/ bountyfull - just choose correct crewskill, correct level, BUT choose WRONG type of resource (for ex. I want to collect only rich/bounty sciling, so i will choose slicing, lvl 4, resounce (for ex) archology fragments) - bot will try to search in slicing 4 for fragment, cant find, so it will choose any rich/bounty)

Thast all for now.... ah yes. some missions are corrected, so I reccomend to record your fly (as my isnt perfect)

There is no *.EXE file inside - only AutoIt script text, so compile by yourself or wait for TheMer

Regarding that auto quitting from mission if the key picture isn't recognized, is that the situation where it would bail, then try to actually run the mission anyway? That was one of the nasty things I was looking into. Glad you got it resolved.

I don't know if you left me much to patch! I will look into the security question screens, as I have my spare computer constantly getting pestered for the secret question while logging in. That is preventing me from using the logout feature, so it behooves me to get that corrected.

Hopefully I can get something posted in the next week or so on that front.

Re unrecognised mission

There is check out for 40 seconds delay if not recognised then bot quit with bail, but
(for me) sometimes programm passing behind this check, so, i correct it alittle. hope will work.

I hope to post my first update later today to UglyObiSecond's code base this evening. I still don't have security questions in play yet, but I have another fix for the running around in the ship due to the mouse buttons not being released at the end of the mission.

Sorry. If not for this bot, I don't think I would be able to do space missions. Anyway, I would recommend recording your own, but perhaps someone might be nice and post theirs if they have them recorded!
