For the next versions I have no specific plans, but mission tuning and additional boni might come in focus. I dont think the BH issue can be solved easily by means of 5.x but who knows. So 5.38 and 5.39 might be just maintenance versions with minor enhancements. Another topic on table is the alternate image set(s) (darthangry and tekbill issue) which will be built in once a complete set is available so no idea which version it will be. Anyway, wont have much spare time in the next weeks, so progress will slow down a bit.
Absolutely closing a bad chapter in my life... This new girl friend is ****ing amazing! Not crazy, can talk to her and she listens even though I know she isn't interested, doesn't say anything when I play Meshuggah, She tells me I am amazing and she is lucky to have found me. She wants to know about me and doesn't want to change me. She doesn't sweat stuff. I just think I am dreaming and that one day I will wake up. Just.. you know what I mean? Anyways, 6.0 development glance I am hoping to have around 5.38 approx if 5.38 doesn't come down too quickly. I will be on vacation and all though I will try to bring it to work on, I am on vacation ya know? I am glad that progress will slow down. You are a machine! lol

We do not have any need to inject a virus. I could care less about your account or anything else for that matter. This is a false positive as we haven't nor will we ever use viruses, spyware, trojans, hijackers, worms, or anything else for that matter. These just do not coincide with our spacebot world.

I can't see why Schadwe would be concerned about viruses anyway. He's already got Norton on his system; what would another one matter?

A virus always is a serious issue. In this case a quick search shows that WS-Reputation.1 by Symantec is a detection system based on so called "community reports" which - according to lots of community reports in the net - seems to leads to a high rate of false positive detection. In short words - Norton will flag unsigned programs as virus if they are not widespread enough. Or even shorter - Norton/Symantec suxx.

To avoid any potential risks - existing or not - I'd suggest same like TMichael did. Get AutoIt, delete the .exe and recompile yourself. I am sure there is no risk, but anyway - I will see if there is a chance to get the bot digitally signed with reasonable effort. Also - never trust a Norton - you should try another av system. Altmaster just hit the spot.

    Spacebot 5.35psx - preview (R28)

    Hi all,

another hotfix for the 5.35psx preview is available. Please delete the old preview and get the new one:

    Luckys_Spacebot 5.35psx - preview

(It can also be loaded from page 14 of this thread and as 5.35psx preview - unstable from thread starter)

    Updates & Fixes:
    - updated some evading and shooting functions for Impossible sector (thanks to TMichael) (with some minor edits)
    - updated Impossible Sector mission (thanks to TMichael, see comments in his below posting)

Note: to save any values permanently, exit the bot with the cross. (x) or the windows close function. F4 will exit without save.
If the debug text in bottom of main tab says "Mission control: standby until client ready" and you are unable to start
any mission, drag the bot window to the right until is doesnt cover the swtor window any more. If the message then
changes to "Mission Control: enabled" everything is ok and missions should start as expected. (it looks for a part of
the radar here) If the radar is viewable and it still doesnt enable, check recommendations.and try calibration. To deactivate
this feature, disable HD-Mode in Options.

    Recommended settings:
    - Aero desktop (default Windows 7)
    - Client in window mode, 1024x768, low detail, interface Default (from dropdown list)

After long hours of struggling with this space ballet of dodging and movements and attack functions, a working solution has been completed. It makes use of some new helper functions, posted below. The script has thus far had a 100% mission success rate on my Smuggler and Trooper (more testing needed).

Currently, the bot will complete the mission with no bonuses. I am in the process of adding the Disable Fighter Tenders bonus, but I wanted to get this out to the community as soon as possible. I'll post an updated script when it's finished.
Many thanks for the contribution, never seen a mission with such a lot of duck & cover, but after some minor edits it seems to work very well. (smug, jedi) Awesome.

I needed to adjust one timing (7:04->6:54) to make sure the mine objective is met. Also some quick changes to mmove and your attack functions to prevent the bot from clicking something on desktop in case of a dead client, interesting concepts used here, will have to analyze with some more time. So, thanx again, am really curios for the bonus part!

    Impossible Sector - Update

On the heels of another great update by Phagotron, the latest IS mission update is now complete. Please refer to the original posting for more details.

    Changes:

    • Bonus Mission - Disable Fighter Tenders is now functional, with a high rate of success
    • Important: "Try Mission Bonus" in the "Options" tab must be checked to enable bonus mission functionality
    • The mines objective is now completed sooner, with extra mines to spare
    • Minor tuning in multiple areas
    • 6:25am PDT: Increased the firing time for the bonus mission, other minor tuning

Impossible Mission - Update - Pastebin

As always, BIG thanks to the creators of these magnificent scripts. I'm happy if I can lighten their workload, even a little.

    @Phagotron:

Thanks! It was a bear to get through. A ridiculously large, baby-eating bear.

Per some of the new concepts:

Integrating the attack types into one function (well, two if you count the special attack function) really helped to speed up the process. The blaster() and shield() functions probably helped even more, since they allowed defensive functions and attack functions to be called one after another without worrying about whether the blaster or shield was on or off.

    Per the 7:04 change:

Originally, the ship swapped from fire mode to evasive mode while still in the minefield because of the extra damage taken, but in this latest update, I essentially made the same change you did. The ship now fires all the way through the minefield while using Send("{3 1}") to mitigate much of the damage. Great minds and all that.

    EDIT:

Updated at 6:25am PDT. The new link has replaced the old.

Whew. Ok, sounds like a plan. I'll go ahead and just compile it myself with AutoIt. Thanks for the replies.

I'd say the mission now is a big step closer to 6.0 ... The 5.x attack functions are quite similar and repetitive, but they are short, easy to handle and have only few side effects. Even if quite simple, we now have narrow-band, broadband and filtered attacks, each used for its special purpose and maybe (so the plan) exchangeable and tunable in some future version. I wanted every click go to mmove to make sure that the click inhibit works safe and secure if no client is detected. Also it enables the debug mode which sometimes helps to sort out wrong pixels and further mmove will provide a position prediction depending on its actual position some day. Switching shield in an attack did lead to problems, since it tended to mutual failures. Alas the pixelsearch in there might be a good way to avoid that. In the next days there wont be much time, but I'd want stitch and tie it together so shield_on/off, evader and sway become equipped with the new abilities to reduce the need of special functions for each mission as soon as possible.

And - beside all discussion - the new functions do great and are a real advance, so big thanks again!

Something that would be a big plus to dailys would be the ability to set a different image tolerance to each of them, IE out to the side of each daily an image tolerance box. Fondor IMG TOL 100
Javaal IMG TOl 94 etc. Since each mission can require its own tolerance to run successfully and trying to run the dailies as one run can be an issue due to this, this could be a resolve for it.

With the new version it looks like when you enter the mission the bot prompts an 'abandon mission' and exits the space mission. Does this on a loop.

Your good old project manager here has NOD32! Randomly I also use AVG.

I was beginning to make that jest at Norton but I refrained from it. I don't have a huge love for Norton or McAfee as they tend to hijack a system to which they are designed to not allow this and their detection methods are a bit second rate.
