Crewbot stopped working properly with the recent patch update :/ Now when you mouse over "Class 6 Lockbox" you are not able to select a mission, you have to click on text above it.

Anyone having troubles since the update? I don't know what's wrong or if its me but I can't even start the 2nd SWTOR on a VM and the first is starting by a miracle, and I'm not sure but I think that now when I start the SWTOR everything gets laggy or something

Can't even start SWTOR inside the VM... can somebody please confirm or deny this I need to know if my problem is Local or not

Thanks for the update! We'll post once the fix for this is live.

Updated now in R247: Inventory search image and credit search script updated to work with latest SWToR patch

Mine is running two bots alright, but my machine is a little beast. So far, we know about the credit read error (fixed) and the crew skills error. I'll watch the thread here for any other issues.

You say it better then most of my native students. Good luck with the reinstall... Forgive me for making up a word but it sounds very windowy ... I know there have been a bunch of winx64 pro updates this week. ... I'm not saying the interns left at bioware are free of blame . Do other apps work in the vm?

So I might have a clue what's causing my problems.... Today I changed my monitor until today I was with an old CRT 17", today I changed to a 24" BenQ and now after I reinstalled the SWTOR keeps starting in Fullscreen with 2560xXXXX resolution and I guess that's causing the "crash" maybe the VM can't handle to run SWTOR with that high resolution (and the copy that I put inside the VM was set on windowed 1024x768 but I guess the settings reset themselves) so is there anyway to change this from any config file in the game or something? I guess that -windowed won't work since i'm starting the game from a launcher but i'll still try... And my VM has 1152x864 for desktop resolution..
So after I start the game it starts with its movies and stuff but just sound no picture, I click ESC few times to skip them and a little after that my cursor just freezes..

I've too have been having trouble since patch. Sometimes the swtor client just won't come out of a splash screen while leaving a space mission. I also had to reboot to get launcher to load client again. The paranoid part of me thinks they installed special software to scan and flag systems running space missions. They would not be the first mmo to target specific missions/quests looking for bots.

Most likely it's something local, and I suspect that the new monitor is my problem. Like TMichael said he's running it without problems..

Well of course it's local. That's where client software resides.

how about if you try hitting alt + enter after the game launches to make it go into windowed mode?

If all else fails, edit the super secret:

    Code:
    C:\Users\YourLogin\AppData\Local\SWTOR\swtor\settings\client_settings.ini
From here you can try to force your native height/width (desktop) and your height/width (game client), and change full screen to false. Be sure to enable hidden files, though, to find it:
    Code:
Control Panel -> Appearance and Personalization -> Folder Options -> Show hidden files and folders -> click radio button for "Show hidden files, folders, and drives"
Note that this will not solve SWToR's inherent issue with most game resolutions, i.e. the funkadelic aspect ratios.

http://prikachi.com/images/895/5314895Y.png this is what happened with Alt+F4 it ALMOST worked...

After 2-3 times trying with ALT+F4 I managed to actually get ingame and I found the real real problems. Firstly it was causing the VM to crash because it was starting SWTOR at 2560xXXXX resolution on MEDIUM settings inside the VM.

I also tried to edit that config file and it didn't help much and I figured out why and what is my problem, I figured it out because I noticed it because everhytime when I was starting the VM it was also resetting it resolution, so here is what I thought I am having problems on the host with editing files, downloading files, installing programs and stuff most of the time it tells me that it can't change it or that I don't have a permission to do it, so my guess is that even that I change the config files inside the VM it also has to change something in the files on the host to remember it, and apparently the host is resetting those files causing the VM/SWTOR to go back to their previous condition making me unable to edit anything...

I struggled with this problem a lot and I couldn't find a solution for it... a while ago I found some registry file or something that triggered a new function on my right click menu on folders, it's Take Ownership but it's not working either I have tried probably tens of things to fix this all my folders are Read-Only and I cant change that I can't make any changes in any files or most of them....

I also don't think that this is an OS issue because I know at least 2 people that are using exactly this very same windows (the one I'm using on the host) and they DON'T have such problem, could it be some setting in the bios or something on the hardware like the old jumpers on the old HDDs?

Now I would understand if this was happening only in C:\ but it's happening everywhere I have 2 more drives that are from separate HDD that has nothing to do with the OS
