Hello, before the update I used to be able to see names of events in wildwoods but after downloading new version I no longer see the names like I used to can anyone help PLEASE?

Also i was wondering if we can increase the range of icon pop ups for radar? sometimes the light refills are too far to render in but im not sure if its possible to have radar show up icons farther away than what it currently does.

You extracted the files wrongly and probably now you missing the two important files that it needs to be inside the radar and preload folder.

You can't load content outside network bubble, its a client limit.

I'm trying to run the latest version of GH (4) but for some reason it just will not start up on the Windows laptop I have. It does not produce an error file so I've no idea why it is not starting up (or starting, dying and not making an error file).
Is there some parameter I can add to the startup command to see if I can catch what is happening ? I'm running Windows 10 and it is fully patched. AV and Firewalls are both running but I don't see these killing the app.

No I checked that. I currently have .NET Desktop runtime 7.0.15 installed. If I did not I would expect to get an error message (I'll remove it and see what happens). I've also checked permissions on the directory and it is what it should be. I've tried running as administrator and get the same issue.

Removing .NET doesn't result in an error message when I try to run the program. That weird since it's a required component.

It appears to be a Windows permissions issue. When I open a cmd and try to run the GH executable I get "Access denied"

Fixed for now by opening a cmd window as administrator then running the executable. It's weird. It won't run as an executable from Windows Explorer even if I select "Run as Administrator". Windows permissions must have it's head up it's backside. At least I have a work around !

Yes, the limited user method requires running PoE as the limited user. You can optionally run other things as Admin... sometimes features require this. AutoQuit used to... not sure if it still does.

You don't run Launcher at all. You run GameHelper executable, as a normal user on your system. POE is started as per the limited user instructions in a separate post to this. You do not run either program (POE or GH) as a normal or the administrator user.

I think I saw somewhere in the thread it's been told you need to run Launcher instead, now I am confused. Also any idea why I can't alt tab to a desktop while running POE and GH? I can alt tab to a discord, browser etc but can't access desktop. (Windowed Fullscreen 1920x1080, dx12)

Never skip launcher ( its purpose is to rename GH.exe ). If there are issues with launcher.exe let me know.

You can technically run launcher.exe once and then execute the re-named exe going forward but that’s too much for me personally so I just double click launcher all the time.


Just ignore that GameHelper.exe even exists.


Btw I am very close to implementing auto-updates in launcher:exe so that’s coming again after a long long pause.

Would using exileapi and gamehelper be a reason why names of events arnt showing up for gamehelper’s radar? I have already installed the latest version
