the way ggg implemented the spike, they get the same icons as the delve walls. keep that in mind when re-sizing them
also, check the delve section, you will find them there,.

Does open source imply that it won't be as safe?

I didnt know it was. My question wasn't meant to be negative, but as someone that doesn't really understand the programming side of it, I was curious whether open source makes it much more vulnerable to detections or if there isn't a huge difference. Now that one is open source and one isn't, I also wonder if GameHelper might've been even safer than ExileAPI, but since I have no clue, I ask an expert :P
regards

Well, it depends. It's safer for us, the users, from PC security standpoint because currently GameHelper isn't open source, so it could have a Trojan or something in it (not that it has). Making it open source would guarantee that anyone can see what they are downloading and using, and modify it to their needs. Although being open source doesn't guarantee safety (see Log4j).
If we look at the side of being banned in PoE, I don't really think it changes much. It's not like GGG doesn't know how these tools work. If you are running these tools as a limited user (as you should), the only things I can imagine being detected are keypresses (like pressing abilities almost instantly off cooldown and flasks) and mouse clicks (not applicable to GameHelper).
Yes, being open source makes the tool easier to break for GGG, since they would know how exactly and where the game memory is scanned, but I don't think they would even bother, it's not worth the development time. It could also help to detect specific patterns in ability usage or something other, but there is such a small amount of people using these tools, there is no point specifically countering them.
Reality is, if you are not botting (or automating things to the extreme) or RMT'ing or editing game memory, your chances of getting banned are extrememly slim.
These are my thoughts as a programmer, I can't guarantee that I'm right and exactly understand how these things work.

Hi, just wondering if anyone has lost quest icons on the map that show locations of items etc?
Not a huge issue as you can tell/guess from the revealed map but before it had exits, quest items etc showing.

Yeah just redownloaded the latest version and put the files in the locations and unfortunately it doesn't show those icons in game.
Is there a setting that may have changed?

hmm, let me check something.
EDIT: I think I removed them since they are not required anymore. The important_tgt_file is more than enough to accurately point out the quest items.

looking at the screenshot, your important_tgt_file is bugged. It's not suppose to have 1 kilobyte of data.
