    i did this my replacing chest.png with a transparent 1x1 pixel.

    Hud configuration: core, map icon size, chests . Disable it if you don't want chests shown in the map.

    I tried dx9 version and this gave a error '' couldn't find the file in memory DataBaseItemTypes.dat. Try to restart the game. ''

    I rebooted and everything and nothing happens.

    dx9 version hasn't been updated. I think you're the first person to even mention it since 3.5.0 released.

    I'd rather play using dx9 because I recently got bad experience using dx11 with HUD. that's why I thought of using dx9 HUD since I got +100 FPS using dx9

    The problem is it simply isn't worth my time. We usually have 3 or 4 people that complain that their potatoes can't handle dx11 and eventually I go to the trouble of fixing it. It takes about a third of the time updating the dx11 offsets takes (usually because I have an idea of where things moved and the dx9 version has fewer offsets to update) but the reward is usually $5 or $10 in donations. And I'm not totally driven by money, but it certainly helps to motivate me. I don't use dx9, so as far as benefit to me, it's completely pointless. I just have little to no motivation to fix them.

    And on top of all of that, when GGG releases 4.0, the plan is to drop dx9/x86 altogether. Although that looks like it's still at least a year off.

    So it’s a performance/FPS issue? Can you try running this overlay (Releases . zaafar/ClickableTransparentOverlay . GitHub) and let me know how many FPS gets fkedup/dropped.

    I am working on improving PoeHUD DirectX11 performance and this feedback will help me understand if my solution is working for everyone or not.

    Note: this is no where near what’s poehud is doing, it just an idea at this point in time.

    I have nothing but trouble with the HUD in the past few weeks. I don't know what's changed or why I have these performance issues. I had no trouble in the past or at the beginning of the league, I took a break and returned, updated to current hud with a clean install, and I have massive FPS drop when HUD starts. I'll attach a photo of the performance impact when i turn the HUD on, I got from 130 FPS to 20 which is unplayable with HUD active. I even disabled every single feature of the HUD, restarted everything, and still get the same performance. Updated video card drivers. I just dont know.

    I tried to run the tool you posted, which creates a similar HUD UI while running the game, and had no performance impact. Not sure if i was supposed to do anything with the options in the UI or not, but the existence of the UI doesn't affect performance.

    That's actually really good news. You are correct, this overlay doesn't do anything at this point in time.
    Hopefully, in the start/middle of next league, I will be able to create something nice out of it and share it with you folks.

    using dx11 with HUD I feel like that was 2 poe.exe open at the same time. that is how if I was playing and another window was opening inside poe screen. . sometimes I wonder if it's possible to make a HUD that works without win aero. let me test this overlay and see if this works without FPS problem.


    I would like it if it had a portable version with just a function to show monsters and chests on map
