Thank you for responding. I found an area of concern upon testing Sithylis' texts
Screenshot of my results: Imgur: The magic of the Internet
I was running a random instance loop to test the pre-load alert. I immediately (~10 sample size) noticed that the preload alert was less frequent than the one I used from Tehcheat (that I had used for maybe a total of 50-70 instance creations previously).
More importantly, as seen from the text, there is a Beast on the minimap (provided by GGG). Also, the Proximity Alert recognizes that there is a Beast. ALTHOUGH, the preloads show none.
It's important to note that my preloads are working. I've loaded many zones before this and a handful of zones after (to ensure it's not a pre-load bug since literally no pre-loads in this zone).
So, clearly there's Beasts missing...

For kicks, I loaded 4 zones. I saw ZERO monster preloads. I found this to be suspicious, so I started moving around the zone. I quickly got a "Proximity Alert" and mini-map icon that a Beast was in the area. Although, no PRELOAD alert...

Yes, that's a monster mod, not a unique monster. One can only be detected when the monster is in proximity (what mods it has) and the other requires special files (unique mob) which are loaded at instance creation That's functioning exactly as intended, which is the only way it can function. When a Avian Retch has a mod that shows up in the proximity alert, it's still just a regular Avian Retch model. But when a Saqawine Retch is loaded in the area, we can detect it immediately because it uses a special model. That model shows up in the files that are loaded. The mod on the regular Avian Retch has no such loaded file(s) to detect.

Ah! thanks for your timely replies as always. It's one of the many reasons I'm a proud donator. And I encourage others to do the same if you like the Overlay and want the updates to continue.
I missed the first few days of this league so I'm just catching up, but if I can "TLDR" your post, are you saying that the "Yellow" mobs won't show in the pre-load, but the "Red" ones will? (I still haven't identified the difference between the Yellow and Red ones, other than the fact that the Red are more rare, more difficult, and required in higher recipes of course.

hm is that the case? cause I can get spectral swipe mobs to show up on the preload and they are just yellow I guess they have a different model? most of the time they are yellow iconed mobs
I have to double check might only be showing up if that mod is attached to a red mob ill let you know
ok just got one on preload that was yellow so idont see why we cant get the other ones on there

I understand your thought process, but I'm sitting in an instance with a saqawine presence and there's nothing useful in the loaded files. Literally everything Bestiary that's loaded are generic files that are always loaded. Einhar, 2D art, all of the Bestiary spells, etc. I'm pretty sure you're simply wrong. Some of the mods are nothing more than mods that can show up on regular rares and require no special models.

I took some preloads from PoEHUD - Overlay for Path of Exile (Updated for 3.0)
bcz posted couple days ago and the ones he has listed in preloads do show up

And got a farric something or other and checked the loaded files and it was the same story. Some mods simply don't need additional files loaded so there's no way to preload detect them.

That's sad news.
if GGG can't make a decent thing, I was hoping you to fix they poor job. :P
I'm enjoying bestiary. League is cool. But Its very annoying have to capture lots of mobs and I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHERE THEY ARE.
poe craft and poedb tried, but failed. They have the mobs, the names, the mods, but NO AREA OR WHERE the mobs spam. LOL.
FeelsBadMan. Or, FeelsLostMan. :P

Did you have to enable somewhere in the settings those personal name alerts?
I added Sithylis list and haven't seen any proximity alerts.
