What happens when a file like introguard gets updated through the patcher after being modified by PoESmoother? Does it just overwrite everything in it?

Yes it will overwrite a custom file.
But if you try to restore this file...it will restore the old function from older patch.

How can i remove flame golem smoke effect? When you have 5 golem they have a huge performace impact.

I tried removing or toning down abyssal cry effects, not the skill itself but monsters exploding, it's bad when a lot of them explode at once. I didn't get any anywhere by changing abyssal cry or chaos explode effects. Anyone knows if, and how, it can be done?

Delete the BreachLeague folder and put this one. The zip contains both folders, remove/restore.
