    Good to hear! However, the entire ECP project is not coming to an end, only the ECP 1.X project line.

    ECP 2.X (ECP2) will replace ECP 1.X (ECP1). ECP2 will have its own new thread when it's done, and I will continue the ECP project on from there. Eventually, there might be an ECP3, and so on, depending on how the game changes and how I have to modify ECP to adapt to it.

    ECP2 will address most of the problems that ECP 1 had, will use a different core design, and most likely have an auto-update system. It's being released under a different model, so I can actually incorporate those things into it, whereas I couldn't with ECP 1. In addition, there's going to be some more cool stuff I can do in ECP2, that I wasn't sure I'd be able to do in ECP 1.

    So, you don't have anything to worry about! Depending on when the patch actually is that breaks ECP 1, ECP 2 will be released sometime after. I won't know when, because I'm still working on it, but hopefully not too long.

    I will usually spam instance creation on the ledge or fellshrine until I get an alert that an exile has been detected. No map really seems to have more of a chance than any other. And according to GGG it is completely random which exile spawns on which map, and when they spawn.

    I will say this though, the level the exile is depends on the map, just as any other mob. If you get one to spawn on a lower level map, you will have a much easier time killing it than you would on a map of your own level.

    Had an interesting problem tonight during the Descent race. Upon entering the Frozen Abyss (I think thats the name of the level anyway), I received a Client.exe crash.
    This crash repeated each time I tried to load the character on the level during the race.
    The issue was not present when launching PoE without ECP and was specific to only the one character.

    Few ideas I think it worths implementing :

    - Loot key ( two methods, one key to toggle it on and off, a key that turns loot on while it is pressed )
    - Item Filter tag that allows you to choose what border colour you want on that item
    - Item Filter tag that allows you to choose what colour the alert is written on chat
    - Removing the Item Chat spam if you are going in and out of range on a matched item
    - Zoomhack not going nuts with Flicker Strike(this one might be hard because every zoomhack that there is around screws with this)
    - Ability to see what map mods are up on a non-identified one? (probably doesn't worth the time investment since it isnt that much of a deal)

    As I'm porting code over to the new code base, I've only come across one bug that could potentially do that, but it's highly unlikely due to what the bug is. Basically, if an entity is loaded with a base metadata length of under 8, then the code was incorrectly setup to de-reference the string to the data. However, this should never happen because "metadata/" is always 9 characters, and typically, there's a lot more. So I don't think that is the cause.

    When it comes to joining an instance and crashing, the problem will either lie in entity or terrain processing code. I don't think it's in entity processing code because of how much it's used. If it was an arbitrary bug, you'd see crashes all over the place. I'm inclined to think it's some edge condition with the terrain processing code. Someone also mentioned a crash in a specific instance of Lunaris 3, and only that instance.

    I've yet to be able to find an instance that crashes for me, but I'll keep trying. ECP 2.X will have more logging at the start to help track down any of these random crashes, but typically, that means you'll have a lot of log data that might otherwise be useless most of the time. I don't have my tools setup to actually try to replicate your crash, but if I did, I'd just need you to find the instance seed from your client.log file for that map. Then, I could load up that specific instance and see if the terrain was crashing it or not. Eventually, I'll get all my cool tools like that updated to the latest version of PoE.

    Anyways, thanks for reporting it, Too bad the Descent instances are locked per character, so you couldn't just make a new one!

    First 4 are planned, 5th is something I'll have to try because I wasn't aware of it, and the 6th is impossible.

    i need all v1.3 files (not just that one .dat) (my one of .exe somehow got deleted by antivirus i guess) and now there is no pickit in older versions..

    as i said i cant download cause 1.3 post download link doesnt work!
